Shrimp and Pasta Shell Salad

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2014
Everyone absolutely loved this pasta salad. I also added some green peas and finely diced red onion but otherwise stayed with the recipe. The dressing had a really nice flavor.

Absolutely Delicious. I used chopped fresh tomatoes because I was out of canned but otherwise followed it as written. My husband and I loved these. The recipe's a keeper!

Really liked this recipe. Used feta instead of gorgonzola because that's what I had on hand. Very tasty.

Grilled Chicken with Peach Sauce

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2014
Very bland. Needs hot pepper flakes? We didn't feel this recipe.

Melt-in-Your-Mouth Slow Cooker Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2014
Omit the salt. Everything else has salt already in it, the soup, the dressing, the parmesan, etc. We found it waaaaay too salty. But the flavors were really yummy. Instead of the malt vinegar I used a bit of prepared balsamic vinegar dressing along with the Italian (I used zesty Italian) and instead of breasts I used boneless, skinless thighs. I don't think chicken breasts belong in the slow cooker. I would definitely make it again without the salt.

Mexican Salmon

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2014
I found the spices odd and more than a little off putting. Just thought the cinnamon and salmon was not a good combination. I won't be making this again.

Murgh Makhani (Indian Butter Chicken)

Loved this. Didn't have the fenugreek. Can't seem to find it anywhere. Used whipping cream because that's what I had and Pepper flakes. Simply delicious. Nice balance of flavors.

Brown Sugar Smokies

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2014
Everyone loved these. I made a double batch. I rolled them in sugar in a bowl as someone suggested but I used way less sugar, perhaps half a cup. I roasted the first batch after sprinkling them lightly with sugar. I didn't have a problem with too much fat because I used a premium bacon. I froze the second batch then thawed them out when I needed them. These were even better than the first batch. Everyone loved these and they disappeared in no time.

Pretzel Turtles

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2014
Did not care for these at all. I used the small pretzels and Rolo candies. I wrapped them all nicely and the day I was to gift them the chocolate had a strange whitish coating on the chocolate and the whole thing tasted dry and flavorless. What a waste of time, money and effort. If you're going to make these I would suggest not using Rolo candies. Perhaps the Dove brand would be better as someone else suggested.

Made this for a family get together and none of us really cared for this recipe. Maybe it was the combination of green olives and nuts. Would not make again.
