Paprika Chicken with Sour Cream Gravy

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2010
I found the sauce to be a bit too thick, but the chicken was very moist. I would add a bit of salt and maybe thin out the sauce with milk or cream next time. My family enoyed this so I will definately keep working with this recipe. Quick and easy.

Ground Beef Bar-b-que

Reviewed: Mar. 28, 2009
Fit a quick, inexpensive meal to the tee! I made this loose meat and changed it according to what I had on hand (no peppers so I omitted them altogether, red wine instead of white vinegar). I also took others' suggestions and added garlic, honey, and brown sugar along with a dash of garlic and onion seasoning, but I really don't think you could mess this one up. It was very versatile. It could easily be more sweet or more spicy according to your taste. Thank you. I'll definately be doing this one again.

Chocolate Gravy II

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2008
I wish I had more stars to give!!! I wnt in search of my Grandma Zagarri's chocolate pie recipe and was terribly discouraged until I remebered that it was simply a thickened version of her chocolate gravy. To make this ino a chocolate pie, simply increase the flour to a heaping 1/4 cup ad decrease the milk by about a 1/2 cup. (Grandma never was an exact measurer and neither am I.) Stir continuously over heat until a thick pudding consistency is reached. When chilled this pie will set beautifully. Don't cook as long and you have a great pudding. Trust me. You can't go wrong with this one! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Best Lemonade Ever

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2007
Huge hit with my family! I even cut the recipe by 2/3 and didn't chill the syrup. I just added add and water and it turned out delicious!

Wonderful flavor and consistency. I put this on Happy Birthday Cake (I added a touch of almond extract to the cake batter)then spread rasperry preserves between the layers. This one is a keeper!

Happy Birthday Cake

Reviewed: Aug. 30, 2006
Great tasting cake that holds up well for decorating. I added a touch of almond extract to the batter then, as someone suggested, topped it with wedding cake icing. I spread raspberry preserves between the layers and covered the sides of the cake with almonds. It turned out pretty and delicious!

EZ Peanut Butter Pie II

Reviewed: Jun. 28, 2005
I melted the peanut butter in the microwave and added it to the milk for instant pudding (it was all I had in the cupboard). I also forgot to reduce the milk for pie rather than pudding. My soggy mess tasted great! I can see how this would be great if made as directed. I would be interested to see how it worked for someone else with instant pudding mix.

Cinnamon Corn

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2005
This was a little too sweet for me and the corn turned very chewy. I probably won't make it again.

Pumpkin Rolls I

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2004
I must have done something wrong. They rose nicely, but fell flat when I baked them. They had little flavor and were very tough. Could it be because I used fresh pumpkin instead of canned?
