Texas Sheet Cake I

SO GOOD! I made 1/2 the recipe and baked in an 8x8 pan and it came out great. I did need more milk in icing and skipped the nuts but otherwise followed it exactly. Just what I was looking for, the icing is like fudge!

The Real Mojito

Almost as good as what we had in San Juan. Goes down quickly on a hot day, used simple syrup, may have to buy some lime juice to make in bulk next time.

Slow Cooker Chicken Stroganoff

So good an easy! I followed as directed except did add fresh mushrooms, powdered onion and garlic and big splash white wine at the start. Will make this often this winter!

Slow-Cooker Chicken Tortilla Soup

Big hit a church potluck! Filling, tasty and easy with a few changes from other members: cooked chicken breast in soup then shredded, and topped with crushed tortilla chips instead of cooking tortillas.

Swiss Chicken Casserole II

Easy and tastey, very simple. I used the wine instead of the milk and cut the chicken into chunks. I used the stovetop low sodium chicken stuffing and DH loved it, will make again soon.

Marbled Pumpkin Cheesecake

Everyone loved this, looks beautiful and taste great, the gingersnap crust is perfect, but I didn't use nuts, but increased crumbs to makeup for no nuts. I also used whole can of pumpkin, and used pumpkin pie spice. I baked with a pan of water in the oven and cooled in the oven afterwards and both times they came out perfect, no cracks.

Double Chocolate Brownie Cake

Really good and easy, stays moist for days. Is very close to cake like brownies. I decreased chips to 1.5 cups and did not use any glaze but next time will try a glaze.

Spinach and Strawberry Salad

Very pretty and tasty. Used less oil and less sugar as others had mentioned. Next time I made it - Also used some honey, and sliced, sugared almonds. And I went with the Rasberry basalmic vinegar.

Black Russian Cake I

Great cake, easy additions to a box cake. I had to make 2 in two days! Added chips, cooked for 50 min and followed Brook20's Glaze. Even better the next day! Everyone wanted recipe.
