Slow Cooker Chicken Marrakesh
This was a delicious dish. I doubled all spices except salt per other reviewers suggestion and added about half teaspoon of garam masala. Used a can of Rotel as it was on hand. I used chicken breast with rib bones as they were considerably cheaper, and shredded at the end. This could easily be done with a whole chicken in a bigger pot. Also added about a cup or so of vegetable stock and thickened with corn starch. Added a big handful of chopped fresh parsley at the end instead of the dried. Served over basmati rice and garnished with chopped green onions. Cilantro old be wonderful with this instead of parsley. Definitely saved the recipe and plan to modify for vegetarian friends soon. The sweet potatoes did kind of fall apart. Would shorten the cooking time just a bit. I cooked on high for 4 hrs. Would check it at 3 next time.

Suki's Spinach and Feta Pasta
Just a few things to add to this wonderful recipe. Add a handful of fresh basil. Fresh pasta (refrigerated section) makes this dish. Artichoke hearts make a great substitute for fresh mushroom. I usually use shallots for this instead of onions. Triple the garlic. Canned tomatoes (no salt added) can be successfully substituted for fresh in the absence of good tomatos in the produce dept. I wholeheartedly agree with the reviewers who add different cheeses (italian blend, fresh grated parm). I usually don't add as much feta as it calls for just to keep it a little healthier. Do find good feta cheese. Also find good parm. It's worth the effort and expense.

Chuck's Come On Ice Cream (or Night of the Red Death) Chili
A great chili recipe. I omitted the bacon grease and Salsa, used some canned tomatoes with extra peppers as I did not have these ingredients on hand. Lefotvers froze nicely in ziploc bags and were eaten within a month. The rub is great and I use that spice combo for anything that calls for southwest seasonings as well as for a fajita rub I then top with garlic, lime juice, cilantro and shallots. It is my favorite fajita marinade. Very nice recipe and general rub. It is very spicy (in a good way).
