Broccoli, Rice, Cheese, and Chicken Casserole

This is a great recipe! Even the 10, 8 and 5 year old liked it! We put a few herbs on the chicken as we baked it (not from a can) which I think helped a good deal.

Pepper-Crusted Beef Tenderloin with Chocolate-Port Sauce

Excellent recipe! Make sure to take the shallots out or the sauce is chunky. Pay attention that the chocolate doesn't get too thick, an A-1 consistency seems right but not what I ended up with.

I didn't use quite as many mushrooms, and chopped them (not sliced) - one carton of white mushrooms and 12 oz of portobella-smashing success. This is a MUST try, and I'd NEVER made risotto before.....would give 10 stars if I could!

White Chili I

I added a LOT more cumin/cayenne (and white pepper!) to taste because I like chili hot, and it was great! Got rave reviews at the chili cookoff at work, I highly recommend this recipe and will definitely make it again. Would try adding more dried cilantro next time, didn't feel like that taste came through much.

Very fluffy! Perhaps a bit of vanilla/sugar for a sweeter taste, but we loved these and will use the recipe, amended, as 'ours'!

Stuffed French Toast I

Absolutely wonderful! Be careful not to stuff too much cream cheese in there, but, this was absolutely excellent. And the marmalade was a nice touch, do try it even if you're skeptical. You'll need a bit more butter to cook them in....this one goes straight into the recipe box permanently!

Apple Betty

Very easy recipe to make. Even for beginner bakers! I would use a bit more "crumble" mixture on the top, for personal taste, but otherwise this was excellent. Just a hint of cloves can intensify the taste as well.

Black Russian Cake II
