Juicy Roasted Chicken
WOW. I decided against all temptation to follow this recipe exactly as is and I'm glad I did because it was awesome, juicy, flavorful, fall off the bone delicious! I did double it because my chicken was 6lbs. I read a review that said theirs was undercooked, but all meat of equal measure cooks the same. So I think maybe that person didn't know when you change the serving size the measurements of ingredients changes, but the directions stay the same. So it sounds like their bird was bigger, but they cooked as according to the original serving in the recipe.

Marinated Flank Steak
Holy cow! And by holy cow I mean devine bovine! I substituted honey with Splenda brown sugar because I'm on a low carb diet. I substituted the black pepper and cayenne pepper with lemon pepper and chilli powder because that's what I had on hand. I pan seared each side and broiled on highfor about 9 minutes each side bbecause my bbq was broken. DElish! Melted in my mouth and the flavor was spectacular. Will DEFINITELY make again! Happy Hubby big time. Thanks!

Blue Cheese and Pear Tartlets
This was good. I gave it four stars instead of five due to personal taste and the fact that it was impossible for me to find a store that carried pre-made philo dough shells. I had to make my own by forming philo dough sheets I cut and buttered into a muffin pan. So for me, there was extra tedious work I had not planned on. Also, I made them with Gorgonzola cheese instead of Blue cheese, but it was still too pungent for my taste. The concept is there though, so I plan to make them again with a different, milder, cheese, and....after I find a place that sells the shells pre-made.
