Original Recipe French Toast

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2011
I made this for my co-workers today for Sunday brunch. It was a big hit. I hadn't made French toast in more than 10 years, so I thought I needed a quick crash course. The recipe is simple, but tripled it for a group. I made it just as indicated, and the taste was perfect. I will make this for my husband very soon. Thanks for sharig

Savory Chicken Breasts

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2011
I made this dish tonight for dinner and it was great! I was sure to season my chicken breasts well before adding the cheese topping. I also used sour cream instead of milk. I used Provolone cheese, Stove top stuffing for chicken, and like others, 1 can each of cream of mushroom and chicken soup. I buttered the stuffing mix before topping the dish. It was easy, quick and delicious. A perfect recipe for working women with hungry families to feed in a hurry. Thanks for sharing

Baked Teriyaki Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2011
I made this recipe for dinner today. It was simply delicious! I seasoned the chicken with my favorite seasonings before brushing on the sauce, covered the baking dish for the first 30 minutes, and then brushed them again, and baked them for an additional 20 minutes. I served Jasmine rice along with the chicken, and I will definitely share this recipe with my co-workers, and other family and friends.

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2011
This lasagna recipe is fantastic! I baked this lasagna tonight and served it with garlic bread. The dish does take some time, but as others have stated, the results make it well worth the effort. I simmered the sauce for 6 hours on low in my slow cooker, then put the ingredients together and refrigerated the completed dish over night. This was my first lasagna, and this recipe makes me look like a pro. My husband gave me rave reviews. This will be my signature red sauce. I used some yesterday as spaghetti sauce over angel hair pasta-Delicious! Thanks for this wonderful recipe.

Garlic Cheddar Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2011
I tried this recipe tonight for dinner, and was very disappointed. The chicken had no flavor even though the recipe called for 4 cloves of garlic. I served the dish with Jasmine rice and fresh steamed broccoli florets. At least the sides were good. I will not make this recipe again.

Creamy Spiced Coleslaw

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2011
Great recipe. I usually just buy coleslaw for convenience, but this was such an easy recipe, I will make my own from now on. I shredded fresh cabbage with my new madolin kitchen tool. I followed the recipe with the addition of 1 tbs. of Dijon mustard. Served the slaw with Maryland crab cakes, and seasoned oven baked fries. Thanks for a great Friday night dinner.

Marinated Baked Pork Chops

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2010
I baked these pork chops tonight for dinner. I doubled the recipe as others suggested. I covered the baking dish for the first 30 minutes and uncovered the dish for the last 30 minutes. The pork chops were juicy and tender. I marinated them in the refrigerator for about 2 hour before baking. My husband gave me the thumbs up. Thanks for this tasty recipe

Perfect Baked Jerk Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2010
This was my second time preparing this recipe. I found the thyme overwhelming so, I cut back on it. I also omitted the cinnamon, as others recommended. I added 1 teaspoon of Adobo seasoning to the recipe. I used boneless chicken tenderloins and wings. I marinated the coated chicken in olive oil and minced garlic, in the refrigerator over night and baked it tonight. My husband and I were delighted with the results this time. I served the chicken with a mixture of seasoned rice and corn. Delicious! Thanks for the recipe, this will be a regular treat in our home.

Baked Honey Mustard Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2010
I made this dish last night for dinner, and blew my family away! I used half of the paprika as listed, and I also doubled the recipe for additional seasoning. I marinated the chicken for about 2 hours-next time I will do it over night. I served oven garlic roasted potatoes and steam veggies with the chicken, and it was a wonderful meal. I used Dijon mustard and halved chicken breast and wings with the skin on. Next time I will try it on boneless, skinless chicken. I also plan to try it as suggested, on meaty fish like tilapia. Thanks for the recipe. I will definitely make it again and again.

Baked Maryland Lump Crab Cakes

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2010
This was my first attempt at making crab cakes, and they turned out just great. I made them this morning, and put them in the refrigerator for a few hours, which made forming them much easier. The recipe made 10 cakes. i followed the recipe completely, I was careful not to over bake them after turning them over, so they turned out moist, golden brown and delicious. I will definitely use this recipe again.

Oven Roasted Red Potatoes and Asparagus

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2010
I made this recipe this evening for dinner. We love potatoes, so I filled a 9x13 inch pan with the potatoes. I did not use any rosemary, but I did use 1/4 tsp of thyme. Other wise, I followed the recipe. I extended the bake time to 45 minutes covered. I added the asparagus and baked covered for 5 minutes, and then uncovered for another 5 minutes. The dish turned out deliciously! I will definitely use this recipe again. I served it with Maryland baked crab cakes, that I also found on this website. Great recipe, thanks for sharing.

Peppery Shrimp and Rice

Came home from work and made this dish quickly. My husband thought I slaved over the stove. I will definitely make this recipe again. Next time I might use some marinara sauce, and add some mushrooms.

Easy Baked Tilapia

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2010
I tried this recipe tonight, using the uncooked rice, cream of mushroom soup and frozen broccoli. I used Adobe seasoning also with the Old Bay on the fish. I topped the dish with bread crumbs and parmesan cheese and broiled it for a few minutes to a golden brown. We loved it. The rice didn't cook thoroughly, however, so next, I may partially boil the rice first before adding the cream of mushroom soup. Great recipe!
