Pork Schnitzel Recipe | Simply Recipes

Was really quick, so quick it ended up sitting in the oven for 15 minutes while I waited for the potatoes I started late. Breading fell off a bit, and wasn't as crispy as this looks, but very tasty. Sauce was really good. This would be a good way to cook fish.

Fantastic Lemon Butter Fillet

This was excellent. I followed another reviewers suggestion and added some dill, about the same amount as the parsley. I also omitted the lemon pepper seasoning. I just grated some of the zest from the squeezed lemon and sprinkled that and pepper over the top of the tilapia.

Lemon Garlic Tilapia

I made this as written, only sauteing the garlic in the butter first. This was just ok for us, basic to the point of boring. Adding some breadcrumbs to the top might help.

Chocolate Orange Fondue

I've used this for the last two years as my Valentine's Day dessert. It is very good and very rich. I cut the recipe down for two adults and one child. I used 4 ounces of Ghirardelli unsweetened cocoa and added 1 ounce of Baker Semi-sweet which added a little sweet but kept the dark chocolate flavor. Between the semi-sweet chocolate and the orange juice, it was just right. The second time I made this I forgot heavy cream, so I just used some half and half. It was thinner, but still coated the dippers. I wouldn't use it to cover strawberries at that constancy though.

Roasted-Vegetable Stock

I followed this to a tee except I put this in my crock pot to simmer overnight since I didn't want to wait up for it. Turned out wonderful. Thank you for the excellent recipe!

Mrs. Sigg's Snickerdoodles

Excellent cookie. The only change I made was adding a bit more cinnamon to the cinnamon sugar. I used a tablespoon. Just a side note, if you need to test your baking SODA use VINEGAR. To test baking POWDER, use WATER. Adding soda to water will only create soft water.

Italian Peas

Easy and quick. I cooked these for a bit less than the 10 minutes stated (I don't like soggy peas), tasted them, thought "eh, peas" added a very small amount of salt (homemade stock with no added salt) and took to the table. They ended up sitting a few extra minutes covered. My first bite, I thought "Wow, really yummy". I think the salt helped a little but what made the difference between eh and wow was the few extra minutes. Don't rush this and let the flavors come together. You won't be disappointed.

Busy Day Barbeque Brisket

Followed the recipe to the letter. First time a well rated recipe disappointed me. The rub was overpowering for us. No beef taste at all. If I make again, I will cut the rub down by half, and the thyme by even more. But why bother if I'm just stewing the brisket in BBQ sauce.

Amazing Pork Tenderloin in the Slow Cooker

The smell of this wasn't pleasing to me when I first opened the crockpot, although once I got it out of the sauce it was much better. I think it was the soy sauce. My family can only handle so much soy sauce. The meat was tender and moist when dinner time came around. I cooked my 2.7 lb roast on low for 5 hours. I might decrease the soy sauce next time.

left out all root veggies but carrots & potatoes. Would really like to try it as made. Had to brine chicken in simple brine to defrost. Meat didn't pick up much flavor from spices. Skin was good.
