Creamy Au Gratin Potatoes

I made this as written and was totally turned off by the whole onion rings. Since then I have made these creamy potatoes many times, just substituting chopped onions for the whole. You can change the flavor by using different cheeses.

Slow-Cooker Corned Beef and Cabbage

Slow Cooker Roast Beef

How can anything this simple be so good? Served it for a family meal with garlic mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli with cheese sauce, even the kids came back for seconds on the meat. This will be my new "go to" recipe for roast beef from now on. Thanks!

Florentine Artichoke Dip

I made up this dip and said "holy cow, how am I going to use up this much dip?". so after serving a small bowl of it to guests I decided to use the rest as the cheese filling in my regular lasagna recipe. It was out of this world - everyone loved it!

Baby Back Ribs

Couldn't be any easier! I like to put them on the grill for a few minutes before serving. Collect the cooking juices and barbecue sauce from the foil and heat to thicken and serve with the ribs.

Lamb and Rice Stuffed Cabbage Rolls

Could if I could give this recipe a full 10 stars! It was just the best stuffed cabbage rolls we have eaten - my only change was to use diced tomatoes instead of sauce. I have it on the menu now for a once a month rotation. Thanks for the great recipe, Chef John.

Sufferin' Succotash Salad

Creamed Chipped Beef On Toast

This is an old stand-by recipe that I have prepared for my family for years. I use 2 packages the Buddig beef, double the cream sauce and add just a dash of both onion powder and garlic powder, along with salt and pepper to taste before I chop and add the beef and serve over toast. With these changes, I'd give this recipe five stars. A quick and easy meal!

The Best Meatloaf I've Ever Made

This was a nice meatloaf. I did add green pepper to the onion/garlic sauté and I wish I had used more of the onion as I like a lot of veggies in my meatloaf. It had a very nice flavor and I will be making it again with my adjustments. I thought the sauce was a nice compliment and helped keep the meat moist.

Barramundi With Lemon Basil Sauce

Aunt Ro's Baked Beans

What a great recipe! I totally didn't follow the recipe ingredients because I had a lot of various beans in the pantry and wanted to use them up. I also had an coil of smoked sausage that needed a place to call home. They all blended well together and the sauce as written was just fantastic. My only negative comment would be that the serving size is way off. I cut the recipe in half ans still had 6 servings.

Slow-Cooker Barbecue Ribs

These ribs were fall off the bone and so flavorful that my hubby said, these were the best ever. I only had 2# of baby back ribs so I cut the recipe for the sauce in half. My only change was to reverse the amount of ketchup with chili. I cooked all day on low and they were so good!

Mom's Favorite Baked Mac and Cheese

This recipe is very similar to the one I grew up with and have been trying to replicate for many years. My husband couldn't stop making yummy noises while he ate it. Would give it 10 stars if I could. Because we love onion, I did alter the recipe slightly by adding more onion - either way, it's a winner!
