Christmas Stars

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2010
They puffed a little more than I thought they would... making my center stars look all squished. They taste okay, though, and this was my 6th batch of cookies today, so that may have a little to do with it. :) The dough was very sticky and difficult to work with; hence the 4 stars. :) Thanks!!

Chocolate Crackled Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2010
Mine did not turn out as beautiful as the ones in the picture... They were a lot of fun to make, though! I followed the recipe as it said, but the balls seemed to absorb the powdered sugar, and I made sure to cover them completely with sugar then powdered... they didn't flatten much either. But they're still yummy... I'm a little disappointed with the presentation, but other than that; fantastic cookies! :)

Soft Christmas Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2010
Greatest. Sugar cookies. EVER!! :) I've made more failed sugar cookies than I care to count, but this recipe is the BEST! I did only use 3C of flour and it kept them from becoming flour rocks, like previous batches. Also, take them out before any edges are dark if you like them soft with little to no crunch. Decorate before baking! I didn't know that, so I have several plain cookies, but the rest have sprinkles and such on them! Great recipe! Thanks!!

Peanut Butter Cup Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2010
These turned out GREAT!! I can't do peanut butter because it gives me heartburn, but my boyfriend and all my friends LOVED them!! I had a few concerns: The recipe says to make 40 balls, but my batch only made 24; but they still turned out perfect. I don't know if I made them wrong or if my pan was too deep or what... Also, piece of advice: Unwrap the peanut butter cups just before you take the cookies out of the oven; I didn't do that, and the last few cookies' tops were hard while pressing the cups in. I also followed some advice from other reviews such as freezing the cups! Thanks to everyone who contributed and the person who posted this!! They're amazing!!

Broccoli Chicken Roli

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2010
This turned out fantastic!! I did have trouble using all the filling with one thing of crescent rolls... So I saved the filling in the refrigerator and made it a few days later; just as good as the first time! Next time I make it, however, I will cook the broccoli first, I don't like it to be crunchy, but it was still good. Also, my boyfriend didn't care much for the amount of garlic in the recipe, but I thought it was fine! :) Thanks for the delicious and quick recipe!
