Quick and Flavorful Vegetables

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2012
The flavor boost for me wasn't enough. I did sprinkle some other seasonings on the broccoli which helped it out quite a bit!

I added in extra butter, a bit of ranch dressing for added creaminess, and also some sliced green onion. My family enjoyed it!

Campbell's® Green Bean Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2012
I am not one to always follow the recipe, so I'm not sure if my rating is accurate, since I altered it for my family and I. I used way less milk than called for. I also added in a few dashes of worcestershire. I sprinkled in shredded cheese when I was mixing the green beans, soup, onions, etc together. Then I topped it with more shredded cheese and onions the last 5 minutes of baking. Yum!

Moist and Savory Stuffing

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2012
I added butter and sauteed the celery and onion for a bit. I also added sage to it. It was okay, but I think it would've had more flavor with the addition of pork sausage with sage that I considered adding. I will try it next time!

Sausage and Cheese Crescent Squares from Pillsbury

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2012
This was great! When the sausage was almost done, I added in 6 eggs to scramble with it. I also added in salsa to the mixture and added the sharp cheddar to the whole mixture instead of sprinkling it. My son especially kept telling me how awesome it was. Very easy to make! :)

This was my first time to make it. It was a favorite with my son. He loves snacks like this. Yummy!

Easy Weeknight Beef Stroganoff

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2012
This turned out good, but I made alterations, so I don't know if my rating is fair. I sauteed fresh sliced mushrooms with the onions. I seasoned the steak with Montreal steak seasoning and cooked it with worcestershire. I also added extra worcestershire sauce to the sauce mixture as well. I mixed it all together with noodles that I cooked.

Guac and Roll

Reviewed: Aug. 29, 2012
This was an unusual combinaton. I had to add in a lot of salsa for my taste. The tuna threw me off. It did taste better the next day. My 7 year old liked it though.

Tuna Macaroni Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 30, 2012
This was good, but needed additions. I doubled the amount of tuna, added in chunks of sharp cheddar, and a bit of ranch dressing. Otherwise, it would've been too dry.

Adrienne's Cucumber Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 30, 2012
For us, the amount of dill was overpowering. I will use much less if I make it again. Also, I will use less sugar.

This was so delicious and easy! It would be great in a tortilla with scrambled eggs and cheese.

We really enjoyed this. I wasn't sure about the poppy seed, but once it was finished, it was a nice addition!

This was good. I used small cubes of shredded Sharp cheddar and left the skins on the potatoes. I also chopped the egg up and mixed it in.

Roasted Garlic Chicken Sausage Caesar Salad

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2012
Garlic chicken sausage isn't available in the small area where I live, so I improvised and used sweet italian turkey sausage. I also used a chopped roma tomato instead of the cherry tomatoes. We loved it! My son devoured it. I hope next time to find the garlic chicken sausage, because I'm sure it would be fantastic! :) I did use extra caesar dressing as well, because we don't like our salads to be dry.

Cornbread Stuffing with al fresco® Sweet Apple Chicken Sausage

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2012
I am not a fan of fruit and meat together in a recipe. However, I was surprised... I thought I wouldn't like this at all, but it really wasn't that bad. I would go easier on the seasoning next time and possibly add less fruit, more meat, but that is my preference. My son wasn't too keen on it, but he did at least give it a try.

Italian Chicken Sausage Stuffed Portabellas

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2012
These were really good! And they were very simple to make. I used turkey italian sausage, because the Al Fresco brand wasn't available where I live, but they were yummy. Next time though, I will add more of the cream cheese spread with onion and chives into it.

Double Tacos

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2012
I submitted this recipe but the editors must have changed it. I never cook the taco seasoning and water separate from the meat! I brown the meat, drain it, and add the seasoning/water in with it. No need to dirty an extra pan!

Fiber One® Chocolate-Peanut Butter Haystacks

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2012
I cut the recipe in half for my small family. This was very quick and easy to make! My boyfriend who seldom eats chocolate even gave it a "10". My almost 7 year old son loved it and thought it looked like chocolate worms and said it was cool. :) I liked it too. Next time I think I will try adding in a few chopped pecans.
