Baked Pork Chops I

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2013
I cooked my in the skillet....you really have to let your pan get hot to get them brown....look for smoke. I liked the idea of making the sauce in a separate pot so we could add as much or as little as wanted. Good receipe....the cooking times seem to be off unless you're using a really thick chop.

Chicken Stir-Fry

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2013
I made this because I had all the ingridents on hand. I was worried becuase some said how salty it was, but I just added some water to my sauce to dilute the soy a little. I had chicken diced and cooked already so I just added it to the sauce and let it sit while I chopped and cooked the veggies. I added the chicken and sauce directly to the vegatables after about 5 minutes. I then made the rice that took about 15 mintues which gave the vegatables time to cook and the chicken time to heat up. It was a quick and delicous dinner.

The Best Parmesan Chicken Bake

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2012
We loved this....everyone gave it 5 starts...they wanted to give more. I pounded my chicken to even them out since they were large breasts. I used 5 cloves of garlic...we love garlic. Everything else I followed as written and it was great. I put tin foil over it after 30 minutes in the oven and continued cooking for another 15. Don't skip using the fresh basil...there's no comparison to the dry. Thanks for the easy wonderful receipe.

Cream Cheese Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2010
I made this with mushrooms, spinach & onion/chive cream cheese. It was a sloppy mess even after putting the cream cheese mixture in the freezer to cool off. The "stuffing" wasn't that great but the dijoin/brown sugar coating was awesome. Next time I will use just that (cut in half) and forget the cream cheese part. You don't need as much mustard/sugar amounts as written...half would easly coat 6 chicken breasts.

Thin Mint Crackers

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2008
I took the simplier route...I bought the Andi's Candies (3 boxes) and melted them in the microwave. I also bought the new Ritz Cracker/Pretzel combo to dip in the chocolate. These were a HUGE hit at a graduation party I made them for...there was so much food there I didn't expect this simple receipe to be the one everyone kept commenting on. Everyone thought they tasted like the Girl Scout cookies! Now I've been told they have to be put on my Christmas cookie list. Great Recipe!! Thanks!

Beef Stroganoff III

Reviewed: May 10, 2006
We really liked this recipe. My husband doesn't like Stoganoff, but liked this one. I made some changes to the measurements of the ingredients, but didn't change the actual ingredients except I used real mushrooms. I also found it easier to remove the beef before cooking the onions and mushrooms. Great recipe thanks for sharing!

Oven Pot Roast

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2005
This was a great roast, and very easy. I didn't have vermouth so I added chicken broth, it still turned out great. I also cut slits in my roast and stuffed garlic in before I floured and browned.

Chocolate Cavity Maker Cake

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2005
If I could give this cake more stars I would. If you love chocolate, you will LOVE this recipe...and it is so easy to make. I added chocolate milk instead of the liqueur and 12oz. of choc. chips and it still turned out great. I've made it twice in one weekend, my husband loves it! Thanks so much for sharing this great cake recipe.

Mom's Best Meatloaf

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2004
This meatloaf was very good. I had to make some changes, for ingredients I didn't have. I used tomato sauce instead of juice. I used cracker meal instead of corn meal. It still turned out great. My family didn't even use ketchup when they ate it, which is a first!!

Awesome Steak Marinade

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2002
We really like this marinade, even my 7 year old loved it. I didn't use as much steak sauce as called for, I used some from a local restaurant and it's very salty. So I didn't use any soy sauce. The honey gave it a great taste..not to sweet. I finally found a marinade the whole family likes.
