I love to cook! It is fun,relaxing, creative, and it brings so many wonderful people together. If you love food, than you have something in common! :} Being creative is the most fun,of all. When other things in life seem to be alittle off, you know that a good dish can bring life back together. I love to cook all kinds of dishes. I try to stear towards healthier, very flavorful foods, but weekend comfort food is a must. I love to make appetizers, and rustic comfort food that warms your heart. And for special occasions, such Birthday or Anniversary; love to cook gourmet. My mother makes a killer Oyster Stew that we have on Christmas Eve. My grandmother made Boiled Dinner every Sunday. I do Thanksgiving in my house now and make my other grandmother's fabulous stuffing! And of course, the traditional family Bloody Mary's at each Holiday gatherings! Thanks Dad!:} I am not sure if I can call them a triumph, but they are darn tasty! There are many cooking tragedies! The only way you know you are a good cook is when there are fewer and fewer tragedies! and cooking becomes fun!:}
