Aaron's Chocolate Chunk Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: May 23, 2002
I thought these cookies were ok. A little too sweet for me, and cakey. I like crunchy cookies. Probably will not make again.

Garlic Green Beans

This was a great green bean recipe. I tried it twice now, once with canned green beans and once with fresh. Equally good. Thanks for the recipe.

Pico de Gallo Chicken Quesadillas

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2002
This recipe was excellent. I changed the Pica De Gallo which I HIGHLY recommend. 2 large cloves of minced garlic, 2/3 C cucumber, peeled, seeded and finely diced. 5 Finely diced radishes, and 1 TBL White wine vinegar instead of the olive oil and of course the fresh lime juice. This is what I added to the exsisting recipe. Lots of veggies and let me tell you it was worth the chopping. I also used the recipe from this site Easy Guacamole, which was an excellent addition to add even more yummy flavor. Try it with the extra veggies you will be very please. Lori

Slow-Cooker Pepper Steak

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2002
One word yummy. I added some red pepper flakes, actually I added a lot or red pepper flakes. Being from Southern California, I like it hot. Prepared egg noodles and I must say it tasted very good. Even better next day for lunch. Also added two fresh garlic cloves crushed. Kids thought it was spicey, next time I will go easy on the hot stuff. A must try recipe. Thanks.

I really didn't care for this recipe at all. It didn't even make it to the dinner table. Ordered Pizza.

Veal Marsala

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2002
I thought the sauce was absolutely fabulous. Can't go wrong with wine and cream sauce. I think I selected the wrong cut of veal. Please give input on the selection of veal. I selected creamed spinach to accompany the dinner as well as a seasoned butter rice. Boyfriend loved it. I have tried several of "Christines" dishes and she is a great resource. Signing off Lori...

Baked Pork Chops I

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2002
This is the second time I prepared this recipe, fabulous the second time as well. Although I added crushed red pepper to add some zip to the pork chops and also added white wine and shallots and changed the sauce to a parmesean sauce with added pesto sauce, I must say I created a new and improved recipe. Should try. Easy too. Enough sauce to put over noodles. Kids loved it. :O)

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2002
I must say I do not enjoy cooking, but I have currently been layed off so to occupy my time I have dived into the dreaded act of cooking, much to my surprise with all the compliments I have received I will definately use this web site for much needed advice and recipes. This dish I prepared was such a hit that I plan on making it again for my parents, which btw my mom is the best chief ever, I'm sure she will be very impressed. I highly recommend this recipe and pass it along, even all the children enjoyed it....Highly recommended.
