About this Cook
I am a mom of two girls and very happily married. I really enjoy being involved with the girls' sports. We are fastpitch softball and volleyball players here! I absolutely love trying new recipes as well as reading and collecting cookbooks. Usually though, I am one to combine several recipes into one that I like!

My favorite things to cook are shrimp scampi, soups, chili, steak diane, actually I just love to cook...
My favorite family cooking traditions
Wow! I do not believe that I have any particular favorite family cooking traditions as I love them all.
My cooking triumphs
For me, my greatest triumphs with my cooking are when a family member (outside of our home) loves my cooking! They will keep asking for that particular dish! But, my greatest are London Broil, French Onion soups and recipes that I make up as I am cooking and boy have I come up with some great dishes!
My cooking tragedies
Sauerbraten! I won't even attempt that one again!

Smothered Green Beans
hit it with some (few shakes) red wine vinegar or apple cidar vinegar. It will give it an authentic southern taste to die for

Buffalo Chicken Wings I
Deep fried wings are the ONLY way to go!!! We have been doing it this way for years. Only, we heat the sauce (Frank's red hot, margarine, garlic and whatever else at that moment) then we place the cooked wings and sauce in a tupperware bowl, place lid on top and shake to coat!!! That way they do not get soggy....as always serve with real bleu cheese dressing(Marzetti) and celery sticks.

Chicken and Stuffing Casserole
I used 3 pounds of chicken breasts. added seasonings salt and pepper, poultry seasoning etc...Added sauteed onion and celery too about a 1/4 cup.
