Country Style Fried Potatoes

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2009
These were great, followed the advice of another reader and used bacon fat instead of shortening. Turned out great! Next time going to try adding some onion.

Best Ever Saucy Beef Kabobs

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2009
I thought these were delicious! I added extra onion (chopped too much) and seasoned meat with steak seasoning and a little Lawry's before threading. I grilled on a grill pan with a little olive oil. Turned out great!

Razors Carne Guizida

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2009
I liked this, not something I would serve for company, but a great weeknight dish. I only used one pound of beef, and added a little taco seasoning, and did not simmer for as long as suggested, but it still turned out great.

This chicken was great! Followed the recipe exactly except had to sustitute breadcrumbs with stuffing that I had crushed. Also followed advice of others and halved the salt and pepper Super Delicous!

Followed advice another reviewer and brushed with olive oil, and seasoned with salt before adding tomato and cheese. Baked at 400 for 20 minutes...turned out great.

Summerly Squash

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2009
Delicious! Followed recipe, except for adding 2 of the small green squash (not sure what they are called, I think maybe patterpan?) in place of one of the zucchini, turned out great!

Easy Arugula Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2009
Loved this salad, I added a little extra rice vinegar, and a splash of red vinegar just because I like it really tangy. I also added about a half packet of splenda to the dressing, just to give it a little sweetness. I ended up having to use an arugula mix because the market didn't have arugula. It was so good, even my friend who said she doesn't really like salad loved it.

Italian Nutthouse Broiled Tomatoes

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2009
I thought these were amazing, and my husband was equally impressed. I used small tomatoes fresh from the vine, and used all the ingredients but less of them really decreased the oregano, because I did not have fresh, used just a tiny bit of dried. So Delicious!

Grilled Halibut with Cilantro Garlic Butter

Reviewed: Aug. 2, 2009
Delicious. My only advice is to wait to cook the sauce until the fish is nearly cooked. I slightly overcooked it while waiting for the fish to cook.

Smokin' Scovilles Turkey Chili

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2009
This is good, but spicy! I even omitted the habanero, and still found it spicy, I added a whole can of corn instead of 1/2 and 2 cans of stewed tomatoes (all I had) to try to cut the heat.

Apricot Chicken I

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2009
I actually would rate this 4 1/2 stars, a great easy weeknight meal, but don't think I would serve to company. I used bone in chicken breasts, and made sure to use the wishbone russian dressing, and they turned out great.
