Chicken-Fried Steak Strips
I was looking for something to do with a bunch of round steaks I got stuck with after having a cow butchered. I tried this, and it was fantastic! Yes, it was tough, but that was just the quality of the cut, not this recipe. I did add the Frank's as suggested by another reviewer (only because I LOVE Frank's). Thank you for sharing. :) My hubby is NOT a CFS lover...he rarely eats it, usually only if I refuse to make him something else, and he LOVED this.

I am thinking that this is a case of user-error. The recipe sounded great, but I've made this twice now, and both times I've had these problems: The dough doesn't get cooked all the way through, and ends up raw in the middle. The bean mixture is over-seasoned. It is sooooo salty. It's very nearly inedible because of the saltiness. But, every other reviewer loved it, so I think it may just be me. I will keep trying this until I get it right, because it sounds delicious!

Fudgy Brownies I
I just made these this afternoon to fill a craving. I thought they were good. I liked the fact that they weren't overly sweet, but they had almost a bittersweet flavor that I wasn't expecting. I made it exactly according to the recipe. Next time, I will add some milk-choc pieces or something to counteract that bitterness.
