I haven´t eaten a good Apple Pie since I am back in Germany, so I really wanted to try the best rated Apple Pie hear on allrecipes. The pie crust was very easy to make and in my opinion the recipe isn´t that hard too. When I made the filling it tured out pretty thick and I was worried it wouldn´t turn out as good as I hoped it would be. I was able to make the mixture a little thinner with water, but not as thin as I saw in it in some videos. But I kept going on, put it in for 15 minutes with 210 C and than went on with 170 C for 40 minutes. And it turned out perfect! It is so delicious. I prefer (as a dessert) to warm up a slice in the microwave for just a few seconds, that it is a little warm, and to serve it with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream. Yummy!
