This was a good recipe, however, I also made some changes. I used 2 pounds of ground turkey instead of 1 pound of ground beef, I also seasoned the meat as it was cooking as I prefer the seasonings to be cooked into the meat, not added after it is cooked. I also used a can of diced tomatoes instead of whole, 1cup of rice and 1 cup of water instead of half a cup of each and used two 15 ounce (I think) cans of tomato sauce instead of tomato soup and water. I also added one 4 ounce can of sliced mushrooms to the mix. I also filled the peppers half way and tomato sauce then finished filling them and then topped off with more sauce. I forgot to mix the cheese into the filling so I just sprinkled it on top. I had extra filling so I just spread it in the pan around the peppers and also topped it with cheese and sauce. I found an ice cream scoop works well for filling the peppers. Very good, my dad very rarely has seconds and he ate two of them.
