I have always had a passion for food. Growing up in Southern Louisiana, food pretty much equated love. I started cooking 12 years ago when I started college, mostly out of necessity. Back then it was simple - veggies and pasta, a steak here or there, and maybe a cake from a boxed mix. These days, it's all from scratch and no ingredient, ethnicity, or cooking method is off limits.
