Simple and delicious. I used Panko Breadcrumbs in place of the cornflakes, but otherwise followed the receipe as written.

Absolutely Fabulous Portobello Mushroom Tortellini

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2005
This was an excellent meatless dinner along with a green salad and a glass of red wine. I used the sun-dried tomato alfredo sauce and asiago-garlic stuffed ravioli, and with the mushrooms we didn't miss the meat at all (and we are meat lovers)! Thank you for a great and quick recipe.

Pecan Dijon Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 10, 2009
We love this recipe. I have tried other pecan chicken recipes and the nuts often end up tasting burnt. This one didn't, probably since you add the nuts for just the last 20 minutes. This made a delicious dinner served with a rice pilaf and a green salad.

Simple Hamburger Stroganoff

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2005
I gave this meal 5 stars because it turned out exactly as described. A very quick and tasty meal. I did add fresh mushrooms and chopped onions to the meat as I browned it and I cut the soup back to one can. I found I had plenty of creamy sauce. Thanks for a great family meal!

Game Hens Southwestern-Style

Reviewed: Jun. 12, 2009
Excellent recipe. I used chicken breasts instead of Game Hens, but other than that I followed the recipe exactly. The only disappointment was that I didn't have any company to wow! I plan on making this one many times - and next time I will be inviting some guests!

Tiramisu Toffee Dessert

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2005
This is a very yummy dessert that everyone I served it to loved. I too was a little confused by the "frosting" layer, so what I did was add half the whipped cream to the chocolate mixture and then used the rest of the whipped cream as the final layer. Turned out great. Thanks.

Scalloped Cabbage with Ham and Cheese

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2005
I absolutely loved this recipe. A real "comfort" dinner on a cold winters' night. I mixed the sauce into the steamed cabbage and onion, then layered this with the ham and topped with the bread crumbs, sprinkled paprika and parsley over top. Delicious.

Grandma Johnson's Scones

Reviewed: May 24, 2010
Delicious. I used these for a strawberry shortcake base and it worked beautifully. I left out the rasins and cut the sugar down to about 2/3 of a cup. Definitely will be making these again!

My husband and I really liked this dessert. I thought it was plenty sweet enough, and I followed the recipe exactly. I served it warm with a dollop of whipped cream. Very yummy!

Chicken with Lemon-Caper Sauce II

Reviewed: Oct. 1, 2005
I made this for company and at the last minute I decided I needed more sauce, so I added a cup or so of half and half cream, brought it to a boil and let it thicken naturally. It was delicious and I got rave reviews. Of course it was more fattening than the regular way, so I will do it this way only for special occasions. Good recipe.

This was a great salad for a warm summer evening. I followed the recipe exactly but added sliced green onions to the salad and a touch of horseradish to the dressing to spice it up a bit. Excellent.

Marinated Ranch Broiled Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2006
My family just loved this recipe. I followed the directions exactly, and marinated 3 chicken breasts that I cubed. I put the chicken on skewers and grilled on my George Forman grill. Had my grandchildren over for dinner and they were thrilled with their "chicken-on-a-stick" dinner! Thank you, I will be making this one again and again!

Cottage Cheese Chicken Enchiladas

Reviewed: Jun. 28, 2008
Delicious! Made exactly as recipe states except I used flour tortillas as I couldn't get corn tortillas here. Made a large amount, but they were so good that I didn't mind eating them for 2 dinners and a lunch! Nice creamy texture with just the right amount of zing!
