Marinated Ranch Broiled Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2006
My family just loved this recipe. I followed the directions exactly, and marinated 3 chicken breasts that I cubed. I put the chicken on skewers and grilled on my George Forman grill. Had my grandchildren over for dinner and they were thrilled with their "chicken-on-a-stick" dinner! Thank you, I will be making this one again and again!

Easy Alfredo Sauce II

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2006
I really liked this recipe when I tossed it with the warm pasta. Although, I had a little trouble with it separating when I added it to a sauce I was preparing on the stovetop. But now that I know this, I will prepare the sauce differently and add the alfredo at the last moment. Great short cut recipe. Thanks, oh, and if you have any left over sauce, it is fantastic added to your mashed pototoes!

Fluffy Potato Casserole

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2007
Thank you for making me a star at my Easter Dinner. Everyone loved this dish. I did change a few things, I didn't add the flour. I used flavored cream cheese, green onions, added crumbled bacon. I also put a layer of grated cheddar cheese along with the French Fried Onions on the top of the casserole - too many calories for everyday but absolutely fantastic for a holiday dinner!

Blueberry Crumb Bars

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2005
Great recipe! Since there are only the two of us, I cut the recipe in half and baked it in an 8x8" pan. Turned out perfect. I also grated a little orange rind in with the frozen blueberries that I used. Actually, my hubby loved this so much I should have made the bigger size!! Thanks.

Rossi's Sausage Gnocchi

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2007
Of course I had to try this one - as my daughter submitted it! Nice, easy family meal. I did add about 1/2 cup of dry red wine. Good recipe, honey.

Sage Pork Chops

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2005
These were very tasty. I used beef broth, and I will also be cutting the salt next time. I thickened the broth and added about a cup of light sour cream, which made a great sauce for these very tender pork chops.

Veal Scaloppini with Lemon Cream Sauce

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2007
I am always looking for a different recipe for veal and this is an excellent dish. I made it for just my husband and myself, but I would definitely serve this to company. The lemon cream sauce is delicious - I made a rice pilaf that soaked up the sauce and with fresh broccoli, and a glass of crisp white wine we had ourselves a feast! Thank you for this great veal dish.

Feta Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 15, 2006
I got lazy and just cut a pouch into the side of the chicken breasts and stuffed the feta in. Turned out very well. A very easy, quick dinner. Thanks.

Tiramisu Toffee Dessert

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2005
This is a very yummy dessert that everyone I served it to loved. I too was a little confused by the "frosting" layer, so what I did was add half the whipped cream to the chocolate mixture and then used the rest of the whipped cream as the final layer. Turned out great. Thanks.

Slow Cooker Tipsy Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 1, 2005
As we are big fans of green olives, this recipe caught my attention. This was good the first night we had it, but on the second night the leftovers were even better! I also cut the amount of soup in half, and still had lots of sauce. A good family meal.

Yummy Blueberry Cobbler

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2007
It's blueberry season and my husband brought home 15 pounds of the suckers!! I froze most of them but did make this great cobbler. I followed the advice of other reviewers and cut the sugar to a total of 1 cup. This cobbler was so good I think my husband is going to go back to the blueberry farm and get a further 5 pounds!!

Spinach Salad with Curry Vinaigrette

Reviewed: Apr. 2, 2002
I made this for dinner the other night and it was a big hit with my husband and myself. I added some tomatoes and some shrimpmeat - I couldn't get the thick bacon so I used regular bacon, crumbled into the salad. Excellent.

Shredded Potato Quiche

Reviewed: May 2, 2008
A very good recipe yet a little bland. I will be making this again but adding a few extra ingredients to give it some extra kick. I followed one of the reviewers advice and patted my thawed hash browns in paper towels and brushed with melted butter, the crust crisped up nicely. Thanks.

Scalloped Cabbage with Ham and Cheese

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2005
I absolutely loved this recipe. A real "comfort" dinner on a cold winters' night. I mixed the sauce into the steamed cabbage and onion, then layered this with the ham and topped with the bread crumbs, sprinkled paprika and parsley over top. Delicious.

Ham and Potatoes Au Gratin

Reviewed: May 20, 2007
Very tasty. My only problem was that some of the potatoes weren't thoroughly cooked after 40 minutes in the oven. The next time I make this I will microwave the potatoe cubes first to speed up the cooking process. Good flavor, made a nice dinner with a green salad to accompany the casserole. Good way to use up left over ham.

Chicken Enchiladas IV

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2002
This was a great recipe - quick, easy and delicious. The best thing of all this recipe is much lower in fat than the chicken enchiladas I usually make - and we thought they tasted just as good!

Marilyn's Cheesy Clam Chowder

Reviewed: Oct. 1, 2005
This is very good chowder - thick, rich and tasty. I cut the amount of cheese just a bit, but it definitely added a richness to the flavor without tasting too "cheesy". I will be making this one again and again. Thank you.

Raspberry Chiffon Pie I

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2005
This turned out very well. I made a chocolate crumb crust and garnished the pie with shaved chocolate. I also sieved the crushed fruit twice to try to remove as many seeds as possible. The next time, I will probably increase the crushed fruit a further half a cup in order to intensify the raspberry flavor. Thanks for a great recipe.
