Orange Chocolate Muffins

Reviewed: May 3, 2006
We liked these muffins very much. I have a food processor, so the grating of chocolate was a snap, but I could see it would be time consuming if grating by hand! I thought the orange and chocolate flavors blended well, and for those who would want more orange flavor I would suggest adding a bit more of the orange zest, that really brings the flavor out! Thanks for a nice muffin recipe to add to my collection.

Grilled Strip Steaks with Horseradish Guacamole

Reviewed: May 3, 2006
I thought this was very good, but next time I make it, I will make a few changes. I will marinate the steaks in my own home made marinade instead of the bought steak sauce which we didn't care for and I think I will add the horseradish to the marinade (as we love horseradish, but not so much in the guacamole). But I thank you for a great idea on grilled steaks. They looked very impressive on the plate with baked potato, griled mushrooms and sliced fresh tomatoes.

RamJam Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2006
We loved this recipe. I halved it and grilled the kebobs on my George Foreman grill. It turned out great, I will look forward to using it on the outside BBQ this summer. Thanks.

Better Slow Cooker Robust Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2006
We thought this was very good. My husband particularly liked it which was good as I got the stomach flu the next day and couldn't help with the leftovers! He ate it for three days and still said he would like me to make it again sometime!!

Chocolate Bar Fondue

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2006
Excellent and so simple to make! I came to the site, picked this recipe, and made it that day for a wedding shower luncheon for my daughter. Instead of coffe, I added Kalua as someone suggested. We used strawberries, kiwi fruit, bananas, apples and pretzels. Everybody loved this dessert and I must thank you for the rave reviews I got!

Chicken Enchiladas II

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2006
I love enchiladas and these were very good. I did find them a little salty (probably the soup) and a little bland so I opened a bottle of salsa and poured it over top. I have to admit that I probably will stick with the Enchiladas IV from this site as my enchiladas of choice.

Mistakenly Zesty Pork Chops

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2006
I thought this was very good. The cocktail sauce I used has a strong horseradish base, and I love horseradish! Unfortunately my husband wasn't as fond of this version, he prefers the one I usually make which is similar but with the chili sauce. I will compromise and make this version, every other time! Thanks for a nice recipe idea.

Outstanding Chicken Dinner

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2006
Excellent flavor, but I also make a few changes as per other reviewers - I cut the butter and flour amounts in half, eliminated the salt (as the chicken broth was salty enough). We love articoke hearts and really enjoyed the taste of the recipe, and the leftovers were just as good the next day reheated.

Baked Salmon II

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2006
This is an excellent recipe. I used Wild Coho Fillets which can be a little dry, but they turned out moist and very flavorful. Easy to make and extremely tasty, thanks for a great recipe!

BBQ Steak

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2006
We thought this was very good. I marinated the steaks and cooked on my George Forman grill. Steaks were moist and full of flavor. I think they would be even better cooked on the outside BBQ. Can't wait for BBQ Season! Thanks for a very good recipe.

Apple Cranberry Crisp

My husband and I really liked this dessert. I thought it was plenty sweet enough, and I followed the recipe exactly. I served it warm with a dollop of whipped cream. Very yummy!

Marinated Ranch Broiled Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2006
My family just loved this recipe. I followed the directions exactly, and marinated 3 chicken breasts that I cubed. I put the chicken on skewers and grilled on my George Forman grill. Had my grandchildren over for dinner and they were thrilled with their "chicken-on-a-stick" dinner! Thank you, I will be making this one again and again!

Easy Alfredo Sauce II

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2006
I really liked this recipe when I tossed it with the warm pasta. Although, I had a little trouble with it separating when I added it to a sauce I was preparing on the stovetop. But now that I know this, I will prepare the sauce differently and add the alfredo at the last moment. Great short cut recipe. Thanks, oh, and if you have any left over sauce, it is fantastic added to your mashed pototoes!

Slow Cooker Lemon Garlic Chicken II

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2006
This is one of my favorite slow cook recipes! I usually rub the chicken breasts with Italian Seasonings and Chilli Powder along with the salt and pepper. I love the fact that this is one of the few slow cook recipes that doesn't have a lot of sauce - although if you want, you can make a great gravy with the liquid. Excellent recipe!

Best Ever Meatloaf with Brown Gravy

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2006
Not my favorite meatloaf, but my husband did really enjoy the gravy! I found it a bit bland and seemed to be missing something. I will probably try it again but will add some spice and herb variations.

Simple Malaysian Fried Chicken

My husband and I loved this chicken! So simple, yet with a very intense flavor. I used boneless chicken breasts that I cubed, marinated and stir-fried. Served with rice and steamed broccoli and had a wonderful dinner! Thank you.

Scalloped Cabbage with Ham and Cheese

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2005
I absolutely loved this recipe. A real "comfort" dinner on a cold winters' night. I mixed the sauce into the steamed cabbage and onion, then layered this with the ham and topped with the bread crumbs, sprinkled paprika and parsley over top. Delicious.
