Easy Chocolate Mousse

Reviewed: Jun. 25, 2005
I needed a quick dessert and this one was perfect! I was feeding my two little grandchildren (3 & 6) and they thought this was a great treat. The mild chocolate flavor was good for the kids, if I was feeding this dessert to adults, I would modify it as some suggested to a stronger chocolate taste. Thanks for this simple to make, kid pleasing dessert.

Lisa's Easy Chicken

Reviewed: May 21, 2005
This is great recipe! The chicken is moist and tender, and the seasonings and vegtables give the dish an intense flavor. I added mushrooms and chunks of zucchini to the veg. mix and Italian seasonings. This was a big hit with my family and I will definitely be making again. Thanks.

Strawberry Chocolate Mousse Cake

Reviewed: May 9, 2005
This was just a wonderful dessert. So easy, yet looked like I slaved for hours over it. The only problem was that it was so good, my family didn't leave me any leftovers! Thanks for this fantastic recipe.

Smothered Pork Chops

Reviewed: May 3, 2005
This is a good recipe, especially as it is plain so you can tweak it anyway you want. Tonight, I replaced the water with white wine and added dill to the gravy. It tasted great with mashed potatoes. I also used worchestershire sauce as suggested in another review, gave it a bit more of a kick. The chops were tender and moist. Thanks.

Smoky Mountain Chicken

Reviewed: May 3, 2005
5 Stars for a great meal! My husband really liked the BBQ flavor. I cooked the breasts for about 20 mins and then added about 2 tablespoons of sauce per breast and cooked a further 15 mins then proceeded with the ham and cheese. Will definitely be making again. Thanks.

Pork Chops and Scalloped Potatoes

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2005
Thank you for a great family dinner idea. I added some additional seasonings - garlic and thyme, along with some chopped onions. I would call this a real "comfort food" dinner.

Baked Scallops

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2005
This is a great recipe, so easy to put together. The only thing I changed was to use plain bread crumbs and to add 3 strips of bacon, well cooked and crumbled into the topping. We loved the results! Thanks.

Sage Pork Chops

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2005
These were very tasty. I used beef broth, and I will also be cutting the salt next time. I thickened the broth and added about a cup of light sour cream, which made a great sauce for these very tender pork chops.

Angela's Alfredo Ham

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2005
This was wonderful. I had frozen a chunk of our New Years Ham, just diced it up and made this. Of course, I forget to buy the frozen peas at the grocery store so I threw in frozen green beans and it was delicious. Will definitely be making again. Thanks.

Chicken Spaghetti IV

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2005
This is a great recipe for a quick family dinner. I think the results depend a great deal on the quality of the spagetti sauce that is used. Unfortunately I used a brand that was on sale instead of my usual more expensive one. I will know better next time!

Aimee's Quick Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2005
5 Stars for such a quick and tasty dish! I also used real crumbled bacon, and since I had a lot of mushrooms, I sauteed them and threw them in on top of the bacon and sprinkled the Parmesan over all. Turned out great.

Blueberry Crumb Bars

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2005
Great recipe! Since there are only the two of us, I cut the recipe in half and baked it in an 8x8" pan. Turned out perfect. I also grated a little orange rind in with the frozen blueberries that I used. Actually, my hubby loved this so much I should have made the bigger size!! Thanks.

Meatloaf with Fried Onions and Ranch Seasoning

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2005
Absolutely delicious. I only made a couple of small changes, I added a 1/4 cup of ranch dressing along with the ketchup, and instead of using the whole can of fried onions in the meatloaf, I kept back about a third of the can and pressed those onions into the top of the loaf. I wowed the family and would like to pass along my thanks!

Chocolate-Laced Pecan Pie

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2005
Made this for our Christmas Brunch dessert. Everyone loved, especially my son-in-law (pecan pie is his favorite!) Made a nice presentation with whipped cream and chocolate dipped pecans. As this pie is very rich I was able to serve 8 and still had some yummy leftovers. Great recipe.

Baked Ziti I

This was a lifesaver! Snowed in - couldn't get to grocery store. I had most of the ingreds at hand except I had to use chopped up chicken for the meat and asiago cheese instead of Provolone. Turned out fantastic and my husband couldn't believe what a great dinner I was able to bring to the table! Thanks.

Salsa Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2004
This is a wonderfully delicious and easy recipe. I got this recipe from another source and have been making it for a couple of years. If I don't have chicken breasts, I sometimes use boneless pork chops and it works almost as well.

I made this dish to serve with our Thanksgiving Dinner, and it was great. Very easy to make. I sauted the onions early and finished the dish later. Sprinkled with paprika and parsley for color, it was a big hit. Thank you.

This is new favorite salad. I too use the prebagged greens, this is quick and simple and everyone I have served it to just loves it. Can serve as is or add some toasted nuts, or cheese. Just delicious!
