Grandma Ople's Apple Pie
Thank you so much for coming up with this recipe. My sister is allergic to cinnamon and her favorite dessert is apple pie, so I made this for her for her birthday this year, and it was a huge success. The only change I made, was that I mixed half of the sauce with the apples before I laid them into the crust, and I poured the rest over the top. I typically brush my lattice crust with milk or egg yolks but doing it this way let me skip that step since it gave a nice thin layer over the top that helped my crust brown up to perfection. Bravo!

Grandma's Green Bean Casserole
I love this recipe! I love green bean casserole, but sadly I have a mushroom allergy. So when I stumbled onto this recipe that didn't call for mushroom soup, I knew I had to give it a try. I followed some suggestions to cook the onions ahead of time before the baking and found that worked out really well. I like to make this recipe ahead of time and store it in the refrigerator overnight, since I tend to make this for Thanksgiving/Christmas. It saves me time the next day and I can just throw it in when I'm ready. My family loves this recipe, and I continue to get special requests for this casserole. Thank you for sharing!

Southwest White Chicken Chili
I enjoyed this recipe immensely, and as I am terrible following any kind of recipe I made some key changes that made it a 10 for us! For starters, I actually cooked the chicken, green pepper, and onion in the same pot that I made the chili in with all the spices to which I included fresh minced garlic, salt, and pepper. I followed everything else except that I added 2 cans of diced tomatoes and used chicken broth instead of water - 1 Can. Then, we added sour cream and cheese to our individual bowls to taste, and it was superb! We had some friends over and we finished off the entire thing like it was going out of style. With cornbread, this is definitely one we'll be eating again and again. Thank you for sharing!
