My children LOVE this recipe. I agree with some of the other posters, editing this recipe to your taste is ok. It is an AWESOME recipe, the changes just represent your personal taste preferences. I have even made this recipe with regular sliced bread and it has still turned out great. It's also just as good using half splenda/half sugar. We vary the spices every time we make it. Sometimes we just use cinnamon, other times we also use nutmeg, sometimes we use pumpkin pie spice. Changing it up can make this recipe suit the season!
