About this Cook
I'm a twenty-something Leo woman, currently unemployed and using my spare time to mix up my cooking repertoire. I live with my husband, two cats, and a bunny. CFBC. Mom taught me the basics of cooking, I'm teaching myself the rest.
My favorite things to cook
Fried chicken, spaghetti, fried rice, apple pie (from scratch!), and kitchen sink soups (that is, if I have it and it's delicious, it goes in the pot).
My favorite family cooking traditions
Dad and Gram--Spaghetti. They do diverge on how it is--Dad puts more veggies in the sauce. Mom--fried chicken. This is probably one of the best things she's taught me to make. Naturally, our recipes are starting to diverge--she's famous for hers, and I'm starting to be (just a lil bit) for mine.
My cooking triumphs
Any time I get a compliment on my cooking.
My cooking tragedies
The first time I tried to fry tofu. Agggh.
