Strawberry Dream Cake II

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2012
I loaned out my Cake Mix Doctor book to someone and needed the recipe for this cake. I am so glad someone posted it on here. The only thing, make sure you drain the strawberries well or your frosting will be kind of runny. I actually drained them on paper towels my second go round and the frosting came out perfect.

Blonde Brownies I

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2011
I actually tried the recipe and had to make another batch of the ingredients to fill bottom of pan before I could put them in the oven. In other words, double the ingredients. They did not come out as I expected. Dry on the top and edges and the middle wasn't fully cooked. Didn't really like the taste either. I thought it was just me, but my 4 year old (who eats everything) only took one bite and left the rest on the table. I think I'll have to try another recipe.

Rita's Sweet Holiday Baked Ham

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2011
I guess I have to join the bandwagon on saying that my ham did not absorb the juice. Other than that, my ham came out very tasty and I loved it. I used a spiral cut ham and removed the oven bag half way to see if the juices would evaporate in oven. Afterwards just used glaze packet that came with ham and added some of the juice from the recipe and used them combined to keep ham basted. Will definitely use this recipe again.

Peanut Butter Crispies II

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2011
My daughter and her friends made this recipe and it turned out great. I had them to add a layer of chocolate chips at the bottom of the pan before they added mixture and they sprinkled red and green sugar on top to make it festive. Everyone loved them. We'll make more today.

Peppermint Bark

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2011
I made these today and they turned out pretty good. However, I left out the oil and the semi-sweet chocolate and added red and green sprinkles to give a festive look.

Easiest Peanut Butter Fudge

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2011
This was my first time making a peanut butter fudge or even tasting it for that matter. It was still a tad to sweet for my liking and needed more of a peanut buttery taste. I believe I'll add another 1/2 cup of peanut butter the next time. But this recipe was very simple to follow.

Tasty Collard Greens

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2010
I am so glad I came across this recipe. This is the FIRST time I've made collard greens where I actually enjoyed them. Even my daughters wanted second helpings. Very tasty.
