Baked Pork Chops I

Easy Slow Cooker French Dip
I put this in the crock pot this morning for dinner tonight. I made it exactly by the recipe. I found it to be good but I did end up doctoring up the au jus just a bit. I poured it from the crock into a saucepan and added a little salt and black pepper, some browning sauce, some garlic powder and some Worcestershire sauce. I simmered it for a few minutes. It was even better then. I also added a slice of provolone cheese to the bread before toasting. This was very good and my husband loved it too. I served it with a side of broccoli salad. I will definitely make this again.

Chicken Noodle Casserole I
We loved it! When I put it all together, it seemed a little lacking in appearance so I added some frozen peas and carrots. It also looked like it would bake a bit dry so I added some milk. With these additions, it was yummy! I realized before I baked it that it would be way too much for me and hubby so I split the casserole into two dishes. I baked one and put one in the fridge for the following night's dinner. On the second go 'round, I decreased the amount of butter added to the cracker crumbs because the first casserole came out a bit greasy on the top. It was much better that way. This recipe is definitely a keeper and will become part of our regular rotation.
