For Christmas my wife gave me 3 Dutch ovens and for my birthday I got an 8" chef's knife.

My cooking triumphs
Beef tenderloin stuffed with blue cheese, asparagus, toasted garlic and shallots, sun dried tomatoes, and crisp crumbled bacon.

Slow Cooker Sausage with Sauce
I have been using this for years and if you get decent Italian sausage you can't lose. I use a large white onion and slice it into 1/2" slabs.

Limehouse Chicken
Started with red wine instead of white wine, I painted the mixture with oil because I barbequed it and was trying to get it to brown. After 4 minutes on each side over direct heat I transferred it to an aluminum pan and added the broth and wine and finished with 8 minutes indirect cooking. It did set up and kinda browned but it isn't right. Even that didn't ruin it. Very juicy (165 F and rested for 5 minutes). Great flavor and I bet it will be much better when I prepare it correctly.

Asian Beef with Snow Peas
I double the sauce and added water chestnuts, onion, green and red pepper. I used rib eye steak that I barbequed about 4 minutes per side instead of round steak. New York strip steak will be good too.
