About this Cook
My favorite things to cook
It varies most of the time I make a recipe that sounds, reads, or looks good. In fact one time I was watching Disney's Ratatouille and when the character made the white cream soup I was inspired me to created a soup my self and I did. So any thing that gets me excited about cooking is my favorite thing to cook.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Cooking traditions in my Family are more like; if family and friends are together we make or bring food laugh, (maybe yell once or twice), eat, clean up, remember old times and hate to leave at the end. At lest these times happen when ever we are together not once a year.
My cooking triumphs
Cook a 15lb turkey with advice but never seeing it done in real life. Making bread from scratch with no bread machine and just books for help the best one from 1904.
My cooking tragedies
Being to impatient for a cake to cool before frosting. The hole cake in half and it wasn't my first cake. Also I was to take it to a gathering that evening, it didn't come with me.

Moroccan Tagine
Absolutely amazing! A great way to eat squash (even for those who don't really like squash) it's better than a sweet way (like a potato with flavor). My family is not much in to Mediterranean food but they loved it. I had white beans on hand not garbanzo beans it work just fine. Couscous is the best side I used a mild flavored box mix of roasted garlic & olive oil it worked great.
