I'm native Washingtonian and have lived near Puget Sound my whole life. We have saying around here "When the tide’s out, the dinner table's set". As such I love preparing a myriad of local seafood. I also enjoy all of the great local farmers that produce vegetables, beef, pork & foul. I have delved into different sushi preparations, Southeast Asian, Italian and southern USA dishes and am always looking for new ideas, flavors and techniques. Being that I love local ingredients, I tend to put a Northwest touch to most recipes I come across. I look at a recipe as a guide that’s meant to be personalized by the cook.
