Chicken Noodle Soup II

Reviewed: Sep. 18, 2011
I have made this soup twice now. The first time I used the boxed chicken broth, this last time I used a chicken paste you mix with water for the base. It is soooo good. I love this recipe. The noodles are so easy to make. Something to take note of though this soup tastes better the day after you make it! I actually made my whole pot took a small bowl for myself and put the rest into tupperware and froze a couple and put a couple in the fridge. I did this because I love the leftovers for this soup. It's even better than when it is freshly made. The noodles are much better the day after, after they have been soaking in the broth for awhile. I followed the recipe pretty much exactly how it was written :)

Garlic Cheddar Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2011
I just made this tonight for dinner. It was VERY good. We thought we would have leftovers but there was nothing left! I didn't have oregano or parsley. I used pepper, basil, garlic, and salt. I also used corn flakes with bread and put it in my blender. I also blended some cheese in with the bread crumb mixture and a couple handfuls of flour. Then I shredded some cheese to sprinkle on top. I sprinkled the bottom of the pan with the bread crumb mixture. I will DEFINITELY be making this again! Our 7 year old devoured it like it was his last meal (and he is SUPER picky). Awesome recipe!

Pumpkin Spice Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2010
This is the best pumpkin bread I've had! I made 2 loafs yesterday. I followed the recipe exactly except I used fresh pumpkin instead of canned pumpkin. Oh and I used 2 tsp of pumpkin pie spice because I didn't have all the spices on hand that it called for. So for the spices I just used the cinnamon and pumpkin pie spice. Next time I'll make sure to have all the spices. But It made delicious bread regarless. It is super moist!!! 5+++ stars! My 2 year old even loves it, (and she is super picky). I did find that I needed to cook it for 72-75 minutes instead of 60-65 minutes (I don't live at an elevation so thats not why). I'm DEFINITLY making this around Thanksgiving as well. And it is VERY good refrigerated. I freeze a loaf and keep the other in the fridge until its gone then I defrost the other loaf. YUMMMm!!!
