Chocolate-Covered Cherry Cookies

Great cookie. Easy to make. I followed a few other reviewers suggestions. I formed the ball, then poked a hole and put in the cherry, then just covered the hole back up. Very easy and Very tasty!!

These are a great appetizer and can be customized and adapted so easily. I made them using leftover pork butt that I shredded. SO EASY!!

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

I thought this was a great recipe. It was a hit and so easy. I followed a couple of other suggestions and added one can of chicken broth, celery tops and additional seasonings and garlic. I also only used one can of biscuits, flattened them and cut into strips. I will definitely add this to my favorites and make again!!

Sweet Potato Patties

These were a hit at my house. I will definitely make them again. My "batter" seemed a little runny, not sure if that's the way it's supposed to be. I did not have any samolina flour, so I just doubled the regular flour. I also did not make the yogurt sauce. No plain yogurt and not enough time!!

Ham and Corn Beignets

Great recipe and easy to make. Only changes I made were to cut the cayenne and salt in half and add an all purpose seasoning (Northwoods from Penzey's). Unless you are feeding an army, I would cut the recipe in half.

Real Potato Leek Soup

This was pretty tasty. I like a "thicker" soup and it was a little thin. That was my only complaint. One thing I did different was I sauteed chopped up bacon with the leeks. It gave the soup a little bit of smokey flavor.

Irish Cream Bundt Cake

DELICIOUS!! Very, very, very good!! I followed another reviewer's suggestion and after pouring half the sauce over the cake, I put the cake back in the bundt pan, poked holes in the bottom and poured the remaining sauce over it. Then I sat it in the refrigerator and heated it up for a few moments before I set it on the cake plate. Will definitely make this again!!!!

Terrific Turkey Chili

Made this last night and it was tasty!! I did use some of the other reviewer suggestions, like adding a can each of Black, Kidney & Cannelli Beans. I also used a black bean & corn salsa, which worked out well. I am going to make another batch, adding chilli powder & garlic. I would have given the recipe a FIVE star rating if I hadn't needed to add the other ingredients.

Baked Lemon Chicken with Mushroom Sauce

Made this last night and it was tasty!! I followed the other reviewers suggestions. I browned the chic breasts in olive oil, butter, onion and garlic first. I actually trippled the gravy mixture, but only used three chic breasts. I didn't have a fresh lemon, so I used bottled and it tasted just fine. I also added plenty of salt and pepper as well as some Rosemary Powder and Shallot Salt. I will definitely make it again.

Raspberry Fudge Brownies

I made these for an office birthday party. The brownie part was excellent, the chocolate layer was GREAT, even though it didn't seem to 100% adhere to the brownie, when cutting. The topping was my only "negative". The taste was great, I just didn't care for the consistency. Maybe it was me, but it was very soft and I would have liked it to have been a little more firm. I didn't think the prep was too much, just wish that topping had been a little different. Everyone loved them at the office, as well as my spouse.
