Iced Coffee

Reviewed: Jun. 14, 2009
Wow, this was so good! Like others, I did make a couple of changes. I used just 2 tablespoons of fat free sw and cond milk, skim milk, and added a little extra chocolate (my weakness). The changes were great, and the recipe had only around 135 calories per serving with no fat calories!!!

Spaghetti Salad III

Reviewed: Jul. 13, 2008
This was a great and easy-to-make recipe. I omitted the onion and tomato, and added red and orange peppers and black olives. This made a very colorful and tasty salad.

Roasted Pork Loin

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2006
This was a delicious roast. This was my first attempt at cooking a pork loin and it was great. I seasoned it as shown, but let it sit for a few hours before cooking. My husband could smell it befor he even came in the house. Do watch the time, though, mine was 2lbs and cooked in just over an hour.

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2006
These were great! I needed cookies for a church function, and was looking for something different. I halved the recipe, and after reading reviews added 1-tsp baking powder, 1/4-tsp salt, and 2-tsp vanilla. I also decided to use chocolate pudding. These made a very moist and rich cookie.

BBQ Pork for Sandwiches

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2004
This was so easy to make and the flavor was great(even before adding bbq sauce)! I let it cook overnight in the crockpot, then was able to let it sit in the refrigerator all day with the bbq sauce on it.

Beer Pizza

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2004
A nice change from your regular pizza sauce. I couldn't find pepperoni sausage, so I just added regular pepperoni when the bacon was finished cooking. The sauce was a little runny; I might try adding a little tomato paste next time.

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2004
These are delicious!!! I had never make homemade muffins before, but can't see ever using a mix again. I read the reviews and went with the suggested change- used buttermilk, added vanilla, and used brown sugar in the topping. I did have trouble with the muffins spilling onto my pan when I made them bigger, so I made 12 muffins the second time.

Easy Ham and Noodles

I've been making this recipe for a couple of years now. It's great when I'm short on time. I use cream of chicken soup, and add garlic powder and pepper.

Delicious! I was told about this one by a friend, but it took me a couple of months to make. I wasn't sure about the mix of ingredients. However, it was a big hit with my family!

Sand Art Brownies

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2004
I made these up for teacher's gifts for X-mas, and had a couple of the teaches asked for the recipe. These are very good. I love the combo of white and chocolate chips. I used 1/3 cup of oil as suggested by many others, and that amount was perfect.

Apple Crisp III

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2002
This was delicious! Like others, I used 1/2 sugar and 1/2 brown sugar for the topping. Also I added 1 tsp cinnamon. We ate it warm with vanilla ice cream. I don't care for oatmeal, so this recipe was just what I was looking for. Thanks!!!

This is such a good and easy recipe! I seasoned the pork chops with season salt and seared in olive oil. The pork chops literally fell off the bone when I took them out of the crockpot!!!Will be making this again soon.

Chicken Chimi in the Oven

These were wonderful! My husband and 9 year old loved them. My only change was to add a little cheddar cheese to the chimis before I wrapped and cooked them. Great recipe!
