Yummy Sweet Potato Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2011
Until now, I haven't found a thanksgiving recipe for sweet potatoes that I actually like. This recipe was my last shot before giving up hope on sweet potato casseroles forever, and I'm really pleased with the way it turned out! Like other reviewers suggested, I baked the sweet potatoes instead of boiling them and I added 1 tsp. of cinnamon and 1/2 tsp. of nutmeg. I used 3 large sweet potatoes. It was really good and I'm going to add this recipe to my thanksgiving menu for years to come.

Homestyle Turkey, the Michigander Way

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2011
We made this as written and stuffed it with onions, carrots, and celery. It was the most delicious turkey we've had so far. 4 cups of water sounds like a lot and looks like a lot, but it left ample juices for an abundance of gravy, my husband's favorite part.

Dog Treats I

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2011
I halved the recipe and did not make any changes. My 7yo milkbone hating pomeranian and 3yo not food motivated shepherd mix ate them right away. The pom was camped out at my feet waiting for them to be done. I'm eager to try the peanut butter, bacon grease, nutritional yeast, and graham cracker variations suggested in the reviews!

Mexican Baked Fish

Reviewed: May 21, 2011
Quick, delicious, and easy! I used hot taqueria style salsa and had to cook it for 30 minutes instead of 15. Served with black and pinto beans.

Slow Cooker Stuffing

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2010
I have used this recipe for the past 4 years, delicious! Everyone loves it. My boyfriend hates mushrooms, so I make half and half. I don't change anything else, but I usually err on the side of more chicken broth. To save stove space, I usually cook before hand and then quickly heat up after the turkey comes out.
