Ornament Dough

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2011
Followed the instructions perfectly, but it was way too difficult to roll out. I tried even adding in some additional water and 1 tbsp. of oil like some suggested, but it still was like a rock. I finally got some rolled out with my kids and cut out few ornaments. They looked awful when they came out of the oen and were cracked everywhere. They had a blast doing it, but I would so not recommend this as a recipe for pretty ornaments.

Alfredo Sauce

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2011
Excellent!! I doubled recipe. I then added in a few tbsp. of flour to thicken the sauce. I also added in a few squeezes of fresh lemon, 2 pinches of nutmeg, & a handful of crumbled goat cheese that melted right into sauce to make it rich & creamy.

Chicken Noodle Casserole I

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2011
Excellent & easy. I used 2 cans of fat free cream of chicken soup because that is what I had on hand. I also used light sour cream. Didn't taste a difference at all! I sprinkled in some thyme, garlic, salt, & pepper when cooking chicken & used the same water for boiling pasta. Sprinkled chicken and pasta with parmesan cheese too. It was super yummy, and I definitely plan to make again.

Blackberry Cobbler II

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2011
Excellent! Doubled dough recipe, but NOT the sugar (kept it at 1/2 cup for the dough). Added 6 cups of blackberries instead of 4. Also, still kept the 1 cup of sugar in blackberries even though there was more of them. Did NOT have iron skillet. So, bolied the blackberry mixture on stovetop pan, then added the boiling mixture into 9X13 glass dish, then dropped dough onto that. Make sure to put on foiled baking sheet. It was a HUGE hit, and i'm definitely doing this again and again, and again! p.s. I also used the organic frozen blackberries from costco, and they were just as good than the fresh!

Easy Sour Cream Cheesecake

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2010
I only had only a few hours before a dinner at our house to come up with something yummy for dessert, & this was the PERFECT recipe!! Picked up the 2 packages of cream cheese, & a pre-ready made graham crust at the store. Put the cream cheese out on the counter for a few minutes, then creamed all the ingrediants together. Poured over the crust, put the pre-ready crust tin in the oven, & it was done in 55 minutes! No using a sppring pan, and the curst tasted just as good as the homemade ones I have done before. Beautiful and SO yummy! Sprinkled red rasberries and drizzled chocolate sauce over it. Guests raved about it, and none was left! This is a definite SAVE recipe that is SO super easy!!!!!

Chewy Peanut Butter Brownies

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2010
These were delicious and a great addition to our plate of Christmas cookies this year. Gave it four stars only because cooking time should of been less because edges were a bit overcooked crusted. I cut off edges, and the rest were super yummy! Next time, I plan to cook less time, and on possibly on 325.

Best White Icing Ever

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2010
Excellent! I used this on a cake I baked for a friend whose son is allergic to dairy and eggs. I used a little less sugar, and added a little bit of water at the end when mixing to thin it out a little to frost the cake. It was SO yummy!

Coconut Shrimp I

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2010
Loved, loved, loved! I refridagted the batter for about an hour. I then made sure to shake off excess batter as I dind't do this the first time when I tried this recipe, and the batter was too thick. I then put the battered shrimps on a large plate, and put in freezer until ready to fry. Used in deep fryer, and came out better than a restaurant! Got HUGE raves from everyone around. Loved the suggested sauce too of orange marmalade, mustard, & horseradish sauce. I will do this again and again! I also used the "tail-on" frozen shrimp from Costco that were already cooked. Just defrosted bag overnight in refridgator, and it was way less work to do it this way.
