Best Ever Slow Cooker Italian Beef Roast

We added a small jar of sweet banana peppers, and browned the roast on all sides before putting it into the crock pot so that it would not be dry. I did not have the au Jus packet on hand, so made it without that. Will use this over and over as a main meal during fall and winter, especially to use for several meals on the weekend.

Captain Jerod's Death Roast

This recipe sounded wonderful to me, but I was disappointed. The sliced orange imparted a rind flavor to the pineapple and meat, and the roast gave up a lot of liquid that diluted the flavors. If I do this recipe again I willl have to peel the orange before slicing.

Homemade Pan Rolls from Gold Medal® Flour

I tried this recipe today - I proofed the yeast and it was fine- but the dough did not produce anywhere near 48 rolls - barely 10 - I think there may be an error in the ingredients listed - Can 3.5 cups of flour produce 48 rolls? If I had cut my dough into 48 pieces they would have been the size of marbles! Nice photo though - would love to have THOSE rolls.
