This was the BOMB. Hands down, restaurant quality pulled pork. I made this over the weekend for my family with a few small changes. I used a 5.5lb pork shoulder because in my opinion, it's more tender & flavorful than pork tenderloin. I left the fat on while the meat cooked to keep all the flavor in. Once it was finished cooking, I peeled the fat off. I used a half a liter of Mugs Root beer. I put in the slow cooker on low for 8 hours, turning it once halfway through. After the 8 hour mark, the meat was so tender, I could barely get it out of the slow cooker to drain the liquid without the shoulder falling apart. I peeled the fat off, put it back in the cooker, pulled the meat apart (WITH EASE) & I let it cook in the sauce for another hour. I used a bottle & a half of Sweet Baby Ray's Honey BBQ sauce, since my family likes sweet bbq sauce. This is SOO GOOD.. I will definitely be making this again. I'll throw onions in the crock pot with the meat next time.!!!!
