Grandmas Bogie's Parmesan Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 17, 2011
This was easy and delicious! I used a bit more parm than called for, because we love cheese. Served it with Chicken gravy and potatoes and parsnips roasted in sea salt and olive oil. Will definitely make this one again!

Proper English Cottage Pie

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2011
I have family in England, and this reminds me of their Cottage pie! I have made this dozens of times now. I often buy the microwaveable mashed potatoes to save time. I also often add parsnips, but you can really add ANY veg you have on hand. The only real mod I've made is to use just a PINCH of cinnamon, or you can go without it. I also make a nice beef gravy to pour over it. This is a favorite I come back to over and over again!

Apple Crisp II

This is an excellent recipe as is. I sometimes add some nuts, if I have them lying around, pecans and walnuts are both great mixed into the topping. This is a sure to please recipe that I go back to over and over again!

Carrot Cake IX

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2007
I've made this cake on several occasions and I love it. I am not a fan of raisins or pineapple in carrot cake, and have found this recipe to be a great stand by. People love it when I bring it to parties, and I've always found it to be easy to make with fantastic results. I sometimes add a bit more spices to it, but depends on my mood. I'm not sure what the reviewers who found the texture to be weird or gross did, but for me, this recipe has always been moist and delicious.

This is a quick, easy alfredo and my husband and I love it! Stir frequently with a flat whisk for best results.

Honey's Butter Cake

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2004
YUM! I have tried out a ton of coffee cake recipes, and this one is by FAR the best. I added an extra dollop of sour cream to make it extra moist. If it's the first time you've made it, don't be shy pouring in that cinnamon and sugar mixture! You could also add some chopped nuts to the cinnamon mixture if you like. Great recipe!!

Pumpkin Cake I

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2004
I have made this cake dozens of times, just as the recipe is written, and with or without chopped nuts. It's a favorite and I'm asked to make it ALL the TIME! I usually make a not too sweet cream cheese frosting with it, and it's fab!

Easy Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2004
I made these just as directed, only adding a touch more vanilla, and they came out fantastic. Just what I was looking for- an easy to make sugar cookie with a very nice flavor and great consistancy. Just a bit crackly-crunchy on the outside and moist and chewy on the inside. I'll be making these again!

Peanut Butter Cookies VI

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2003
These were great and very easy! I also used one cup peanut butter. I also alternated batches- one plain, one rolled in sugar and cinnamon, one rolled in crushed pecans. Yum. When I first went to take them out of the oven after 10 min. I didn't think they were done- but they were!
