About this Cook
love to eat. fresher = better!
My favorite things to cook
vegetables
My favorite family cooking traditions
no oil. no salt. no fry and no raw.
My cooking triumphs
lots. My piano professor used to tell me, chicken and the thumb are women's best friends. Thank you, thumb!
My cooking tragedies
adding copious amount of haas avocado into a delicious sweet corn soup without tasting it on a smaller portion. it got too bitter & I had to dump the giant pot of goodness into toilet.

Fluffy Pancakes
I substituted with a can of coconut milk, turbinado sugar (sugar in the raw) and cooked with coconut oil. The sweet coconut scent is heavenly and the sugar added full body. I made these pancakes thin and assembled into pancake-nutella-fruit jam sandwich for my winter mountaineering trip. It packed more calorie, was not too hard to chew in subzero temperature and the coconut add flavor to improve appetite on the 15 hour approach.

Roasted Brussels Sprouts
I sliced them in half to improve cook time and even coating of oil. I use garlic flavored EVOO from trader joe for extra kick. so easy to cook & so tasty!
