Catherine's Spicy Chicken Soup

I followed the original recipe and it's excellent. Next time, I will use only 5 boneless chicken breasts and maybe add extra corn. This soup will become a regular at my home.

Marie's Easy Slow Cooker Pot Roast

This is a fantastic recipe. Although some people complain about reviewers modifying the recipe, I value the comments. Without those comments, this site would be just like all the others. Based on the other reviewers, I used 2 cups of low sodium Beef Broth and added extra baby carrots and red potatoes. I also included the vegetables at the beginning because we like soft not crunchy vegetables. It's really a person's personal preference that will determine when to add the vegetables. I made a rub for the roast and placed vegetables at the bottom of the crockpot and added the meat. I let this marinade overnight and started cooking in the morning. It was a hit with the family and has become a keeper. Thank you!

Roasted Vegetable Medley

I've made this dish many times and have modified the vegetables to our liking. You can really use any vegetable with this recipe. Our favorites are mushrooms, sweet potatoes, red potato, eggplant, carrots, and squash. I love the taste of these baked vegetables and they are very healthy. I too splash the vegetables with Balsamic Vinaigrette 10 minutes before removing from the oven. I bake the root vegetables at 400 for 20 minutes and then add the softer vegetables to the same pan (if space permits) and cook an additional 30 minutes (or until done). Or, bake the root vegetables for 50 minutes at 400 and in a separate pan bake the softer vegetables for 30 minutes at 400. Great way to eat healthy vegetables! Thank you for the recipe!

I'm giving this recipe five stars because it's very easy to make and it's one of the best I've tasted. It's great to be able to adjust the heat and consistency based one's personal preference.

Grilled Salmon I

This was very easy to make and turned out excellent. We had a gathering of people at our home and one person would eat only fish so we made this recipe. It was a hit! I used light soy sauce to avoid the risk of the fish being too salty. It worked!

Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup

I've cooked this recipe twice. Once I followed the recipe exactly. In my opinion, the beer created a strange flavor. This is the reason for the 4 stars. I used Chicken Broth the 2nd time around, used 2 cans of corn, 2 cans of chili beans, 4 chicken breasts, and used Bill Echols taco sauce recipe. The 2nd time around turned out much better. This is a great recipe and is so easy to make in the slow cooker.
