Creamy Parmesan and Sun-Dried Tomato Chicken Penne

I absolutely loved this recipe! However, I only gave it 4 stars as I tweeked it a bit. After cutting the chicken into strips, I coated them in a mixture of flour (about 3 tbsp.) and the seasoning mix (about 2 tbsp.) to incorporate the spice flavor into the chicken. Also, after cooking them in the butter, I set them aside and added them when the pasta is added. I also added mushrooms and cut up some bacon for additional depth and flavor. With these additions, it's a five star recipe!

Buttermilk Chocolate Chip Cookies

I found this recipe on Pinterest, but it included 2 tsp. vanilla and 2-3/4 cup Bisquick. I made it as I found it on Pinterest and it's not bad. The recipe is easy and the cookies will satisfy a chocolate chip fix. Next time I'll try with peanut butter as suggested here. I baked them 12 minutes.

Buttermilk Cookies

Like many others, I had some leftover buttermilk to use up. I found this recipe and figured, why not? I read the reviews before making the batch and added some mini chocolate chips that I had on hand. I put the dough in the fridge for a couple hours before baking, even then they spread. The taste is just okay, nothing special. My "I love any kind of cookie" teenage daughter took one bite and wanted to toss the rest. I'll take them to work, where my co-workers will eat bread crumbs if they're put in the break room, but I won't make them again. I'm disappointed.
