Pecan Pie Bars II

So I think the recipe is delicious, however the cooking time seems to be off for me. I took it out after only 50 minutes, and it was not at all done. I put it back in the oven for another 15 minutes and that seemed to do the trick. So I would recommend more like an hour in the oven, not 50 minutes.

Double Layer Pumpkin Cheesecake

I have never been a big pumpkin pie eater, so this Thanksgiving I decided to try something else with a pumpkin flavor. My family is all for the original cheesecake so they were a bit pessimistic about trying this. Once they did this cheesecake was gone in about an hour! The only recommendations I would make is that if you prefer more original cheesecake, and less pumpkin flavor, that you should make the bottom layer deeper than the top layer ( which is the layer that has the pumpkin flavor). I think that’s the only change I’d make in the future, as well as making my own gram cracker crust. Either way I think it’s a great cheesecake!

Iced Pumpkin Cookies

I have never been a big pumpkin pie eater, so this Thanksgiving I decided to try something else with a pumpkin flavor. These cookies are perfect! I made no changes, and they were sooo delicious...just the right amount of sweetness and pumpkin flavor, moist, and the frosting is a necessity to bring all of the goodness together. Everyone in my family loved these cookies, which is rare!

Authentic Louisiana Red Beans and Rice

Not the best, I think maybe there were just way too many spices added. The base of the recipe is pretty good but we found it a bit too flavorful. And I'm not talking about mouthwatering flavor, I mean now I am confused because this now tastes like a dip instead of red beans and rice flavorful. I gave it a 3 starts because I decided to use it as a dip instead and it worked well but not so much with rice. It may just be me so it is worth a try.

World's Best Lasagna

This recipe was delicious! The sauce was impeccable and I only made one change, I love to use the five Italian cheese selection instead of solely using mozzarella, besides that it's definitely a go!

Slow Cooker Beef Stew I

I really enjoyed this recipe. I didn't have to do much, it was cheap, and it cooked while I was at work. I left it in the crock pot for eight hours and when I returned the aroma was fantastic. I love garlic so I added more cloves as well as a bit of salt to taste, and from there it didn't last long in my house.

Steak Stir-Fry

This recipe was not horrible however I agree with some viewers as it was waaaayyyy too salty and I am not the type to shy away from salt. I actually had to pore some of the sauce out, add water and more corn starch. I also added mushrooms and 1/2 tsp of sherry, which improved the taste as well. Other then that it was pretty good.
