One Bowl Chocolate Cake III

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2012
This cake was so perfect! It was moist and rich. I have had such a hard time finding a homemade cake recipe (mine always turn out dry) but I will be using this this one from now on.

I was not a fan of this, the sesame oil was overpowering.

This was excellent once I made the suggested changes (added 1/4 cup of peanut butter and 1 table spoon of sugar). Everyone at the table raved about this pie. Thanks for posting this recipe!

Brown Sugar Smokies

Reviewed: Jun. 29, 2011
These were soooooo good. I was worried because I had to pre-make them then reheat at a work party the next day and I thought it would be soggy, but they were perfect! I made them as directed the night before. Then put the finished smokies in the fridge over night with another cup of brown sugar sprinkled on. Then the next morning put in the crock pot on low while at work. The office loved them so much that the smokies were gone before the party even started :)

Grandmother's Carrot Casserole

This was very good. I didn't use the sugar called for just sprinkled a little on but followed the rest of the recipe exactly. It was a big hit at our Easter dinner.

Sopapilla Cheesecake

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2011
I thought this was fabulous! It was so so easy and my husband said it was the best dessert he has ever tasted! I just can't get over how simple it was. I plan on making it on Sunday mornings in place of cinnamon rolls :)

Brown Sugar Brownies

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2011
Fabulous!! I got so many compliments on this. I took it to a friends who had just had a baby not knowing her all time favorite dessert was applebees blondies. She said these tasted just like them. I followed the recipe exactly. For the sauce I melted one block of cream cheese, added about 3/4 cup of real maple syrup. Then in a separate bowl made your basic powered sugar/milk icing to the consistency I wanted. Mixed icing to cream cheese mix. Served blondies and sauce hot, sprinkled with walnuts.

Irish Egg Rolls

I thought these egg rolls were unique and tasty. I added all the left overs from my corned beef and cabbage and used a garlic horseradish sauce for dipping.

Love this recipe. I did add a few more herbs but thats just my taste preference not the recipe. But the dumplings had the perfect taste and texture.

Cajun Shrimp

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2011
Love this simple recipe. I followed exactly except I upped the garlic a bit because I just love garlic not because the recipe was lacking. Then I put the Cajun shrimp on top of Fettuccine Alfredo. It was so delicious. Husband raved about it!

Roast Sticky Chicken-Rotisserie Style

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2011
This was so juicy and flavorful!! It was like the grocery store rotisserie chicken but better! I had one 4lb chicken and it cooked in about 2 1/2 hrs, guess my oven cooks hot. Be sure to watch it if yours does too because you dont want to over cook this. It was so so good!

The texture was nice but the overall flavor was not what I had hoped for, it was not lemony enough or sweet enough.

Fry Bread Tacos II

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2011
This recipe was great!!! I used the exact recipe for the fry bread but for the topping I used taco meat, shredded mozzarella and cowboy caviar (corn, black beans, tomatoes, green peppers, onions, cilantro, lime juice, cumin and garlic). It was wonderful!
