Sour Cream Chops

I liked this. I had Omaha Steaks pork chops on hand, so I used those. They are 4 oz each, so I think they were way too small, and turned out a little tough. However, the flavor of the sauce was really good, even though I used dried basil. There was a lot of sauce leftover, and it made a delicious gravy. I think this would be a really great recipe with chicken, and I will try it that way next time!

Mushroom Chicken in Sour Cream Sauce

I'd call this chicken stroganoff! I really liked it, as written, and so did the family. I figured that the chicken was going to be shredded since it cooked so long, so it wasn't the most visually pleasing dish! I served over egg noodles, and it was a delicious, hearty meal. I was able to get six 1 cup servings out of the recipe. Will make again!

Chipotle Shrimp Tacos

Loved it!!! Used 1lb (approximately 40 shrimp) of frozen shrimp, 8 oz of bacon, and 2 chipotle peppers. I thought the spice level was just about right, though we love spicy and I cook with chipotle in adobo frequently! This created 8 tacos, 5 shrimp per taco. Added cilantro, more onion, shredded cabbage, and a squeeze of lime, delicious!!

Cha Cha's White Chicken Chili

Really good. I made it almost exactly as written. I accidentally bought jalapeños that had carrots, but I think it added to the flavor. My husband and I both loved it, and had leftovers. I think this is more than 4 servings, I portioned out 2 cups per bowl and had over 6 servings. Don't think I did anything wrong!

Grandmother's Buttermilk Cornbread

Made this last night, followed the instructions exactly, and it was delicious! I used a loaf pan, and initially put it in for 30 minutes, but it needed about 10 more to be perfect. I had it with red beans and rice, great recipe, thanks!
