One Dish Chicken Noodles

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2014
This was so bland I could barely eat it. This needs a lot more seasoning. Maybe i will try to doctor up the leftovers since it made such a huge amount.

Snowballs II

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2013
Best recipe for Snowballs that I have tried yet. They didn't spread at all and kept their nice round shape. I did keep the dough in the fridge until ready to use. Then as soon as it was soft enough to work with I shaped it into balls and baked for 15 minutes.

Slow Cooker Pernil Pork

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2013
If I could give this more than 5 stars, I would. I couldn't find ancho chili pepper powder so I used regular chili powder. I also used 1 TBSP dried oregano instead of 2 TBSP fresh. Served this pork with Arroz con Grandules which I made from following the recipe on the back of a can of Goya Pigeon peas. Delicious!

Sausage, Peppers, Onions, and Potato Bake

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2012
Great recipe, it was a big hit with my family. The only thing I added to the recipe was about 4 cloves of garlic.

The Best Meatballs

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2011
This is the meatball recipe I have been searching for! I used 1/2 beef 1/2 pork and used 1 cup of milk instead of water. I will cut back even further on the amount of liquid next time as the meatballs were pretty soft and it was hard to keep the shape as I was frying them. I fried them only slightly before adding them to the sauce to continue cooking. This was the first time I have ever used fresh breadcrumbs to make meatballs, so that may be why they were so good. I used italian bread and put it in mu food processor to make crumbs.

Broccoli and Tortellini Salad

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2010
This is a great recipe that everyone raved about. I did not add the raisens, and used only half the amount of sugar. It was definitely sweet enough. I used frozen cheese tortellini and I will cook it less next time. It kind of fell apart a little when I stirred the salad.

Jenny's Grilled Chicken Breasts

Reviewed: Apr. 19, 2009
I really didn't care for this at all. All I could really taste was lemon. It needed more spices in my opinion.

Italian Leafy Green Salad

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2009
I made this for a dinner party and everyone loved it. I used the grapeseed oil, but I think this would be good with extra virgin olive oil also. Next time I will try the toasted pine nuts as someone else suggested.

Chicken with Asparagus and Roasted Red Peppers

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2009
I added a lot of garlic to this recipe as per other reviewers suggestions, but this still turned out extremely bland. Both my husband and I gave it a thumbs down.

Spinach Salad Supreme

This is the best spinach salad I have ever had. It is not nearly as sweet as other recipes I have tried. This is the only recipe for spinach salad I will use from now on

Antipasto Squares

Reviewed: Aug. 29, 2008
This is a big hit every time I make it. The only thing I do differently is cut back on the amount of provolone & swiss cheeses. It is a little bit too rich when you use the full amount of cheese. I have never had a problem with it being soggy, and I have made it many times. It is good served hot or at room temperature. I bring copies of the recipe with me when I take it to parties, becasue a few people always ask for it!

Antipasto Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Apr. 27, 2008
I have been making this pasta salad for a couple of years now and have given the recipe out so many times. It a big hit every time I make it. The only change I make is using rotini pasta and sharp cheddar cheese. It really is the best pasta salad I ever tasted.

Bake Sale Lemon Bars

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2008
I would give this recipe more than 5 stars if I could. It really was the perfect lemon bar in my opinion. However, I did follow the advice of others and DOUBLED the filling and used 1 cup of lemon juice and 1 3/4 cups of sugar so they were not sickening sweet like other recipes I've tried. I did not used any food coloring and they looked yellow enough.
