About this Cook
Married to my H.S. Sweetie with 4 kids. Always looking for new ideas to keep dinner "fresh" with things the kids like-hoping to broaden their food experiences
My favorite things to cook
Comfort foods in the winter months like meatloaf, potroast, baked chicken and pasta dishes. Grilled foods in the summer-if it goes on a grill-we like it!
My favorite family cooking traditions
None yet. Always open to starting some. Having the family together every night at the table to eat and talk is a must.
My cooking triumphs
getting a meatloaf to cook all the way through and stay firm.
My cooking tragedies
getting my meatloaves to stay firm and be cooked all the way through.

Basil Chicken and Pasta
This was so easy! I altered it with what I had on hand. Leftover mixed veggies and rotisserie chicken. Mmm........even the kids liked it!

Pierogi Casserole
I found it easier to go off of MONICA 213's changes, but instead of topping it with the onion, which my kids would NOT have eaten, I topped it with more cheese. WHAT A HIT!
