As other reviewers mentioned, I added a few things to this recipe. First, I only used 3 chicken breats and cut them into chunks. I browned them first then added the onions until carmelized, then added sliced fresh buttom mushrooms until they were brown, then a large clove of minced garlic. At that point, I added the tomatoes, balsamic (excellent quality, thick and sweet), a little chicken stock, the herbs, and a can of baby artichoke hearts. I let it simmer covered for about 20 minutes then served over angel hair pasta and topped it with fresh grated parmessan. You'd think it would be amazing but to me and my husband something seemed like it was missing and it wasn't out of the ballpark like I thought it would be. The next day, leftovers were a little better but overall it's probably not a dish I'll make again.
