Amish White Bread
I attempted this recipe twoce over the past two days. The first time was with AP flour and the second with Bread flour. There clearly was a difference between the two. If possible use the bread flour. While the flavor was great either way but the bread flour made it alot lighter.

J.P.'s Big Daddy Biscuits
I have to say, I use this site on a regular basis attempting to find easy and cost effective recipes for my culinary class. I used this recipe today and was pleased that I did. I teach students that believe that everything needs to come out of a box so making anything from scratch is a chore. They were not only able to follow the recipe, but also make something that I would actually eat. Now we did make a couple slight modifications: 1) We used butter flovored shortening 2) we brushed the top with butter Besides that good recipe, I would use it again

Proper English Cottage Pie
I decided that I wanted to challenge my culinary class one day and this was the recipe to picked to do it with. I spent 4 months in Scotland so I was afraid that they would ruin my fond memories. However I was wrong, and my inner city kids actually did a great job following the recipe and making a dish that brought me back to sitting at the Crags in Edinburgh Scotland. However there was a couple minor changes I made. 1. I decreased the amount of cinnamon just slightly. 2. added a tablespoon of worchestire (sorry I can never spell this right and there is no spell check) sauce. With this said it is an easy recipe to follow and produces a great product.
